I use a 160 bubble bag, 5 gal bucket and dry ice. I do 1lb dried, frozen trim per bucket.

Well that is some good old common sense I totally overlooked... Thnx! I will have to make a new tumbler.... For now maybe I'll mix dry ice and trim in cooler then separate prior to tumbling .. but I'm guessing result won't be as good.
Maybe try a very little bit of crushed dry ice in your current tumbler it might wear it some but im not sure ...also the dryice will slow down or possibly stop your motor if your not hand cranking

I personally run my tumbler for 10 min then collect everything then i rerun for 20min ish for the rest

What's your average yield. Obviously I has to do w quality of trim, but what's a rough #? Thnx
I get around 2-3 zips of kief total out of the trim ive dryiced thats all the kief grades weighed together just to clarify some is bomb some is kinda dirty with plant material but I always end up with over a zip of oil of various grades

We typically get about half of what is there with a tumbler, before we start picking up green. About the same using the Grinning Reaper, though it is faster.

The palm sander works pretty slick. I've also tried ultrasonics, though my transducer was too small, and audio.

Here was another experiment using a 10 woofer. It seemed to work best using a signal generator at about 30 herz.

Looks like there is a bowl of kief sitting on top of it.

Leading us to testing............
