Burn, wilt, ect.. There are many signs. GH nutes are advanced nutrients. The specified strengths on the bottles and charts is meant for Co2. If not using Co2, half the recommended dose should be used. Plants will absorb much more nutrients with high levels of Co2 present. If people are experiencing burn with ANY GH nutes they are using incorrect stengths. With the Kool Bloom dry it is meant for ripening stages only. People are using it too early, too strong, and/or with other PK boosters present. Cant do that. Some are using liquid and dry Kool Bloom at the same time, another no, no. If using Co2, use .05tsp per gallon. No Co2, use .25tsp per gallon durring ripening only. If you believe it makes a difference to start it earlier then use half str. .25tsp per gallon. Kool Bloom dry is a PK booster, high PK can burn just as high N or off PH can burn. Not just Kool Bloom either, if following a chart remember those charts are aggressive feedings with advanced nutrients meant for elevated Co2 so use all nutes at half strength if your not using Co2.What signs of stress do you see besides hermie?
Liquid Kool Bloom and Dry Kool Bloom are two different things used and needed at different weeks in development. Dry KB is a PK booster for ripening and should be used for ripening only. I have had this conversation many times one of which was with a GH specialist. People that use this early and dilure it down more to do so is wasting it because its not doing what its intended to do. All through bloom liquid KB should be used then the week before flush you stop LKB and run DKB ONE week(ripening). Its a ripening formula, that's what its designed for. People use it incorrectly and wonder why they have issues. Just like those that bitch about GH mineral build up but they dont rinse with FloraKleen as directed by the company. Im not trying to tell anyone what they do or dont know or what they think they do or dont know but Dry Kool Bloom is for ripening and should only be used for one week of an entire grow. If anyone doesnt want to believe me call GH. They are good people, very knowledgable and will talk to consumers. To use this product for anything other than its designated application is not productive. Especially DWC as this method is scientific cultivation. It is very precise.I use it all the way through flower from day 1 of flip(speeds up the flip and eliminates stretch).. i have a thread up on how i dilute it. It wont stress out your plant. It doesnt make your weed harsh. It doesnt kill your micor population. You can use pretty much any dry booster the same on every plant... Liquid kb is pretty useless when you can just dilute the dry stuff.. its pennies to make.
The liquid is pointless and i have seen zero difference in starting with liquid or starting with dry. I will say this for a fact.. people use way TOO MUCH when using these products.... i have been at this for few years(full organic/organic/synthetic/dwc/nft/tables you name it)... i dont use most things as directed and i have no problems i see others have. Callin GH doesnt do much(they are in it for sales) and i dont even recommend gh anymore because scotts(monsanto) owns shares of gh. There are many others to use in the same fashion.Liquid Kool Bloom and Dry Kool Bloom are two different things used and needed at different weeks in development. Did you know you can use koolbloom in veg?2.5ml per gallon IF the plants have consistently been on an aggressive feed of 1500ppms or higher. Use the last week or last two weeks before flush. This is for DWC. If your plants havent been on an aggresive feed since the begining then use 1.25ml per gallon and ph of 5.8-6.0. Using this product throughout bloom is going against its intents and purposes. It is very strong, and it can burn the bud leaves if not used properly. This is why it should be used the last week no more than last two weeks of flower. At that point your about ready to harvest and it doesnt matter if the "sugar" leaves burn some. What you DONT want is all your leaves getting burned the first week of flower because you thought by using it early is going to make your buds even bigger. Uh...no! Just buy Liquid and use it properly, its cheap. If your not feeding aggressively then just follow the directions on the back. Im pretty sure the folks that make the product know the best methods for using it. If used correctly it DOES do its job and the difference is notable. Much better than most pk's out there and more affordable. If it werent for GH there probably wouldnt be any others. They set the standard for high quality nutrients.
Kool Bloom Liquid should be started the first week bloom. Florabloom and floralicious Plus is used all through veg. I really dont care what others do, I just tell and show people what brings me 1g per watt. Its when people dont use products correctly then wonder why they dont see a difference or have problems as a result.Did you know you can use koolbloom in veg?
