not sure about a make up brush, paint brush would be better, actually thinking about it i wouldn’t use a make brush.,
i use a couple shaving brushes for moving resin on the screens etc and a couple crayola kids synthetic paint brushes for collecting resin off dvd case or nitrile glove now as the new method for cleaning..

i took what was left of the jar of kief after pressing 3 chunks into hash for a total of 46 gms and than mixed the rest with isopropyl as the kief seemed too contaminated to me and well, let’s see what’s trying to get the most really does..(video)..

My 4 ice bucket runs Yld was
12.1 Gr total (4.58Gr/Oz.)
10.6 A/B grade/
1.5 C/D grade.
NO green…
16.34% total return ...using
74Gr (2.64Oz—(52GrGSC/22GrOGK)
& then drying the used herb on cardboard completely & 160u screen dry sifting…until green appears & he’ll keep going,,, it’s really amazing how many small small Trichomes herb has & again hand grind rub med pressure between siftings.

Note-I only use a ~220-160-25 u bubble bags & 32.7f water, wood paddle stiring nothing violent for bubble hash…I’m not going for Caviar
I don’t think my water turns green more froffy & yellow brown best I remember.
I’m usually using urban has been dried/ cured & dried again for 2-3 months, much chlorophyll has dissipated…!

did dry sifting with some pink starburst which was not dried and cured long enough but i’m a bit desperate and knew i could work around it if i wasn’t such an dummy at times, firstly in setting up video the spacers are in the wrong spot and 1 screen is lying on the other (upside down) didn’t notice for a few sifts.. than when half way through i smash the chandelier and cut 2 of my screens!! but cleaned up and continued even though the micron sizes got messed up, i did ok as i’ve been smoking both for a week and i’m happy with it, whew!..
i keep saying 120 in video.. no it’s 110 micron size..
the resin is uncleaned when pressed also..

So I got about 2 grams of sift to practice with I can’t seem to get the contamination to stick to my parchment paper ? I can see the debri any tricks?

Wasn’t using a cd case does the plastic contain static electricity? Or ? … I’m missing something in this step ?

Bum deal ripping screens Nick !
Can you repair them or is it just replace them ?
@Moshman I use an old vinyl window that my screens fit on nicely.
Even with small amounts and trying to stay near center of screen, the dust goes out to the edges of screens more than I would have thought.

Not sure how much you would get ? Some sticks to screens IMO?
10% of 2 g is pretty minimal ,even 25% ..
But I am always surprised how much volume I get ,not weight .

No - I’ve already ran flower over screeens no I need to clean small amounts - sorry for the confusion - ran thru 120-96-66 screens I find what sits on the 66 to be the highest quality/cleanest - I’m just tryin to practice and end up with even a bowl of full melt I’d be happy

that might be a bit small to get pure heads for full melt, but the dvd/parchment should be working or try the nitrile glove method..
either way use the smallest screen to clean on..
just move the resin around the screen a bit with a card to charge the screens and resin, than do a sweep or two with the dvd case, you should have a small amount of closely pure heads on one side..

And there’s thre problem I’m tryin to clean on a solid surface - one done correctly I’ve ended up with something decent ! Thanks - pic sux but she’s clean !
