i have a few ideas that may help that i am implementing ..
calcium phosphite drench at the root crown has been harsh but seems to be clearing the plant of any pathogens , this was recommended by a crop science specialist here in ag country for battling the disease on outdoor plants . so i am starting the use of calcium phosphites to try and grow through this problem on a few plants that are really sick just to see if it works as suggested.
every outdoor plant i have seen in the past few years that starts having issues can always be tracked to the soil crown at the base of the plant of where the infection begins .. and every single one of them used the same cloning media ... rockwool cubes
take a rockwool cube and rub it on your arm and watch what happens ... rash and irritation!!! as the newly rooted cutting blows back and forth from air movement the stem at the base is being rubbed raw and it is at the point i believe we are getting the problem.
this is just a theory at this point but it is what i have witnessed personally over the past few years ..
for the people having bad dud issues could you please post what cloning media your using to see if we can find a possible problem point ?
Fusarium alone doesn't explain everything.
I had one Tangerine Kush from seed display Mosaic like leaf patterns. I've seen a few OG's do that too randomly.
Yes, intense heat will make your buds fluffy and it can take away the smell.
the mosaic/etc whatever splotching leaves etc.....has nothing to do with fusarium is more like it. Mosaic like leaf patterns are mosaic like leaf patterns...........

very interesting......good work looking for this. itll be interesting to see if tests come back positive for fuserium and if others also find the same dark colored pith in their duds.I just harvested a mother that gave me problems, snapping branches and slow growth. I let all my plants dehydrate before I harvest them, so im not sure if this affected the stem.
I cut the stem in half, all the way to the root ball. It looks plausible that it could be fusarium. I see patches of brown. I never cut one in half like this before, but I'll peep out the other moms to see if they are all green inside.

Here's some great info IMO ...and it even states that alfalfa meal mixed into soil can antagonize verticillium disease by increasing bennies that fight it.

im listening. do you have lab results that show a positive test for tmv. you should post the results with the identifying info blurred out as others have claimed it to be not found yet in cannabis other than a few very rare instances. skunk pharm research claimed that theyve only ever seen 1 plant shown to test positive for tmv.others say theyve never seen it. your test result would be a helpful indication that it is actually happening.I really wish people would just listen to me about the TMV thing. It is a very real problem! Over the last three almost four years I have seen almost all the issues people have posted and talked about on this thread. The virus causes so many different symptoms that look like one thing or another, but are all traced back to TMV. You can fix a lot of the symptoms but it dosnt cure the cause. If you have a plant that is resistant to it you may not even know you have it. Others that don't like it will be "dudded runted and stunted". I'm not just talking here, I have lab results and a lot of experience with it. I'm not saying everyone here has it, but I would bet that if the majority of people here would go get legit lab testing done it would be positive. It can be spread through seeds clones or even touching an infected plant. It's not that crazy to think it has spread everywhere. I see it in so many peoples pics and vids online.
100's have been tested positive for TMV. i didnt start hearing about the positives until like '12 or so though so maybe their data is outdated. but still irrelevant to specific problem w plants and thread discussionim listening. do you have lab results that show a positive test for tmv. you should post the results with the identifying info blurred out as others have claimed it to be not found yet in cannabis other than a few very rare instances. skunk pharm research claimed that theyve only ever seen 1 plant shown to test positive for tmv.others say theyve never seen it. your test result would be a helpful indication that it is actually happening.
