If anything... I admire your persistence. The overgrowth is camo btw. The weeds blend into the weeds. Now that the other half of my garden is finishing I’ll let it go to seed and get this overgrown side back into shape and spitting out something. Anyway this is why I hate tents and rooms for flowering and am thankful to be in the woods. I’m showing you this because... it’s easy. 9 plants/6 strains are in that pic. No temp, humidity, co2, or ppm meters. No worry about lights. The sun is fooking bright. No worry about height or any size restrictions. The 4 in front are autos. First day outside because they all expressed fem. And... they were vegged under T5 HO 8 bulb... flouros. Nodes are tight. They are healthy. No doubt they will kick ass. You seem to have caught the love for the grow bug which is cool. Just tying to show you there is more than 1 way to walk the dog. Im going to go feed those girls. They’re thirsty.

I respect you and your growing advice. I hope I didn’t come off in the wrong way earlier

The internet is a funny way to communicate.

I came to an online forum looking for advice in a situation where plants were dying.
I purposely posed questions in such a way that I thought led for an open conversation, one in which put me in a seat of not knowing anything and seeing what information I was given.
Instead of a more specific detailed approach. I can see how this garnered question, why is someone posing simple questions, spending all this money on a fancy setup?
But fact is, I’ve done this before, and while this set up is brand new, I’m not newb to DWC, or cannabis for that matter. I maybe tried to change things up a little to much this time. But all in good faith.

I respect your advice more so than if you would have just stopped by and made sarcastic remarks and such because you didn’t agree. However you provided feedback that was useful and I appreciate that.

I don’t appreciate being called a liar essentially . But I can understand where you are coming from in a sense.

I personally don’t think my growing technique is anywhere near perfect, but I know it could be much worse.

I respect your growing style as well and never doubted your knowledge. Clearly you have some beautiful plants there and I’m still all ears when it comes to learning that is true.

All I know is what has worked for me. This is a hobby for me. I’m no professional. I do this for mere pleasure. Part of that pleasure is learning and growing along the way and looking back at everything I’ve done to get to where I am.

Once again MHippie I appreciate all yourfeedback !!

Does anyone see any potential issues here ?

Should I be worried about the foam insulation androots?

I have 8”net pots on hand. But are they really needed?

I feel these atriums are sturdier and allow less light through the netpot as it sits higher rather than flush.
Any thoughts?

Mold. That foam is going to suck up moisture. Warping, mold, a general pain in the ass. Happens on boats too. Seal it with a good epoxy. If you want to get fancy then sand it. I’d definitely roll with the 8” net pots. New set up for you so it’s best to introduce as few experiments as possible. Mitigate the bullshit before you start. Then you won’t have to do it when it’s not possible or a royal pain the ass.

I always test my system doing a dry run before introducing plants.
These are 6.5” wide. I honestly think I’m going to roll with them and see how it goes this time around.

let me seal off thisfoam.
I will also be moving the pumps outside the tent.

I am a rebuilding the ScrOG net as well so it’s more secure when lifting the lid.

Any other advice here?

Just a little update, I have confirmed that my RO system is a 6 step system. With the Final step treating that water with UV.

So I think we can rule out contaminated water as well

The air stones always leave sediment.
Could this be causing an issue?
The discs work much better, and don’t leave residue, but the airlines are huge.

I’ve secured the lines downin the Res before with the zip tie mounts, with water proof adhesive, but they always just end up coming off

How do you all feel about this amount of air

Total of 115L/min, I removed a 45L pump.

You can see though that the 70L discs produce much better on the left side. I will split these one on each side.

Will I be okay with the stagnant right front corner ? This would be ideal as I feel the probes read better when in a less agitated spot

In this video there is 6 air stones and 2 discs in the Res.

The 2 discs are hooked up to a 70L

The 6 air stones each a 45L.
In the previous video I had all 6 air stones hooked up to one 45L pump

Now in the video, I am using 70L the whole time but going from two 45L and 6 stones on the first pass, to one 45L pump and 3 stones on second pass, then back to both pumps to finish.

The difference is slight, but definitely more surface movement going on imo.

What are you guys thinking ?

RO water readings were solid at 0wi

& After Adding

30ml bloom
15ml micro
60ml Hydroguard

Currently 100ppms, 6.6ph,

I’ll let this settle for a few hours, then add cal mag and adjust ph if needed.

I also removed 64oz of solution because the net pots were getting pretty saturated even with the water level at 2-3”

Let me know if I missed anything

2 skywalkers clones on the way, hopefully I can manage to keep these ladies happier

This is the Lucus Formula.

0-8-16

This formula can be used in both veg and bloom.
FloraGro Can be used during veg as it should increase the internode length, but is it really needed ?

What’re your thoughts 4th
