Growers Choice

Growers Choice have the world's most completed grow lamp selection. 600W, 1000W Double Ended grow lamps from 2K HPS,4K Daylight, 6K Blue to 10K finisher.

So it looks like the e720 should be around 20k lux then even at 25% intensity. Is that correct?

If I raise it to 36” will that be adequate at 25% until they progress

Not sure. All lights are different but that app will give you a lux

Might want to consider placing those air pumps somewhere else, preferably outside the tent. You will be pumping hot air into your water, as heat rises.....

Also, if you run CO2 you will have one hell of time with PH stability as you would be pumping CO2 into your water.

Always locate air pumps away from heat sources.

Take a lot of co2 to change ph. Honestly never seen it be an issue and feel this is one of those myths. I have injected co2 in water... it also ofgasses very fast when not under pressure

Fascinating thread. Loved lots of the posts. I'm a new DWC grower myself and tbh I wish I'd have started in soil/coco lol. We are where we are though.

Running 2 plants in a single 84ltr res filled with about 65 ltr water. Will follow this thread with keen interest.

I was having water temp problems - then I pointed a turbo fan at my air pump and it seems to have made a difference. My air pump is outside of the tent but it runs warm without a fan pointing at it.

If anything... I admire your persistence. The overgrowth is camo btw. The weeds blend into the weeds. Now that the other half of my garden is finishing I’ll let it go to seed and get this overgrown side back into shape and spitting out something. Anyway this is why I hate tents and rooms for flowering and am thankful to be in the woods. I’m showing you this because... it’s easy. 9 plants/6 strains are in that pic. No temp, humidity, co2, or ppm meters. No worry about lights. The sun is fooking bright. No worry about height or any size restrictions. The 4 in front are autos. First day outside because they all expressed fem. And... they were vegged under T5 HO 8 bulb... flouros. Nodes are tight. They are healthy. No doubt they will kick ass. You seem to have caught the love for the grow bug which is cool. Just tying to show you there is more than 1 way to walk the dog. Im going to go feed those girls. They’re thirsty.

Oh OHM loves to soak up knowledge. So I’m good unless he protests... hijack away. If you are just learning, go with soil. It buffers, doesn’t require as much maintenance, is more tolerant of mistakes, and on and on and on. There are rules to follow of course. But there are rules to break like this bonsai flowering in a 3 inch deep pot.

Does anyone see any potential issues here ?

Should I be worried about the foam insulation androots?

I have 8”net pots on hand. But are they really needed?

I feel these atriums are sturdier and allow less light through the netpot as it sits higher rather than flush.
Any thoughts?

Looks fine to me. I like bigger net pots but shouldn't be an issue. They will probably be destroyed at the end of the grow.
