EAGLE20 users... how late can u spray?

Question for all the eagle20 users...how late in bloom can u spray it for powdery mildew treatment? You think spraying it at 4 weeks in on a 9 week run will affect finished product? Im starting my 4th week and don't wanna spray Serenade all the time anymore. That shit sucks anyways..So was looking into the eagle20 product or fosphite... But since Im in flower its tricky. What u guys think? my air circulation is stellar but i run clone only strains that have had mildew long before they got to me and Im sick of dealing with it.

Ps. Ive searched with no luck on actual late flower eagle20 or other mildew treatments information.

Green Cure and Stylet can be used up until harvest, Green Cure will need to be very very light not to burn the plants but will wash away all PM. Stylet will do the same but is more of a wax base so it doesn't do anything to the plant really. Both are OMRI cert.

Eagle 20 is what has been recommended to me as the be all end all for PM from homies, but haven't got around to it yet. I will using next round for sure, if things pop back up.

I would also start using DM Zone as a systemic to the root zone. I started using last week, and now the only plants in the room that keep poppin up a few spots here and there are ones on flush with no Zone in the feed. Ones with Zone are holding strong in combo with Stylet. I will be trying the Eagle20 real soon, especially since I found out my yard was the cause of PM, not my room! LMAO.

I've read on other forums that you shouldn't use it past week 1 of flowering since it is a systemic fungicide

personally, i would not use the eagle20 after the 14 day of flowering on a 70 day strain. not after day 10 on a 60 day strain, just want to make sure its completely gone, out of the system!

10% hydrogen peroxide works great for late flowering..

Have you even read the MSDS ?

If you would red the label and the safety sheet you would find that eagle is not designed for anything that is close to being consumed by humans.

Let start reading labels and stop using products that are systemic. Just because Eagle 20 is designed for grass it's the lawn type not the smokeable type. Eagle 20 is the reason a lot of people do not play glof due to the toxicity of this product people. Why do we continue to put profit above the health of our consumers. There is a reason that they do not make this kind of stuff available to the general pubic. Also do you have your PPG ?

If not put the strong stuff away for those who know when and HOW to properly apply them.


Style and Sonota work better anyway

simply hilarious! if you wanted decent ag practices done, you would know this is the ONLY way to KILL powder mildew, period, end of discussion. it does not knock it down or put a band aid on the pm, it kills it.

it has a 30 day cycle, which means it will be gone by the time you harvest it, its gone! period! no residuals, your not smoking eagle20.

it is available to the public, try ebay.........

so, feel free to smoke your powder mildew infested plants! i know i will never have that stuff in my lungs again......

Also you can not buy it in Cali, but I can. The reason is I have a pesticide license which means I had to to learn and prove how to apply ,and record the use of pesticides.

It is not approved for vegetables

It is not approved for fruiting trees

And if you have not done your research Sonota and Stylet are the best way to go, but if you need to do a daylight knock down Oxidate also works well. What type of poor ag practices are you using.

I am not normaly this hash but using inappropriate fungicides and pesticides has to STOP.

If I were a MOD and saw threads like this I would close them since they HARM the community, not help.

BTW Florimite is available on EBY but Not legal in California.Why Because Cali has very tight ag laws that protect both the consumer and ag workers.

There is no way you can with a good concision recommend using EGALE20 unless its all about YOU

I stick to 1 part milk to 10 parts water and soak whenever I have powder mildew...I forget the university that did the study ( some where in the US ) and they claimed they used it throughout the flowering period of all the fruits or vegetables.

Everyone needs to calm down. I simply asked a question..didn't want to get everyone all riled up.

i did order a bottle of eagle20 but Im going to return it and get a safer option. I keep hearing about the zone and penetrator combo so i might use that instead of eagle20 from now on..Im just sick of dealing with pm and with all the rain and clouds lately my humidity is to high even with my dehumidifier

this late in flowering i would agree with true grit you will probably need to apply the green cure 2-3 times by chop but it will keep the pm at bay. also i cut of as many lower leaves that aren't getting much light as i can. this helps with circulation. for flowering i cut the does down to 1/4 teaspoon per spray bottle that way it don't burn my pistils to bad. but its good to spray inside the buds now while you have the chance as they are still a bit lose and forming. this will prevent it from growing inside of them. give the plant a good spray over as well with this same does. then just keep a bottle on hand and spray the plants infected areas as you feed or water them.

also if there is pm on the buds when you cut and hang you can spray this on the infected parts as the bud dries. it may taste a bit differnt but its better then smoking powdery mildew. plus people will complain or not buy weed if it has pm on it.

Actually, it says is can be used on apples, stone fruits, and grapes. I'm reading the label right now.

I agree that you should always go organic when possible. But if you live in an area that receives precipitation 2-4 days a week all year long, and you get a nasty run of PM, the shit will keep coming back. I've used greencure, sulfur burner, milk, all that shit.

Personally, I think its more unhealthy to consume and dispense herb that has PM on it, then to spray down your moms a couple times a year with Eagle 20ew

20EW and floromite work and you don't have to spray them every 3 frekin days. It's toxic sure, but it works with one application. 20EW smells like diesel fuel and is a petroleum product. Don't use 20ew or floromite past week 1 of flower IMO. Use potassium bicarbonate for PM in flower and hit your moms with 20ew

If you really want to do something for the environment, live in a tree and eat nuts. Your computer is made of the same stuff that's leaking into the gulf as we speak.

Look into the Oxidate and Stylet options. The oxidate does not prevent PM but will Kill it as well as boytritus on contact. Remember also when you kill the PM spores they look worse because the cell explode like popcorn.

If you can get Sonota it works for 14 days. But with all make sure you suit up with the proper protection

Anybody thought about soaking buds that have PM after harvest? I know some folks use PC dusters to blow away pm real well. I've also tried water curing, and don't see why that wouldn't be an effective option post harvest?

Im with ncga- I use stylet in flower all the time. Keeps it at bay and does virtually nothing to the plants. The last few weeks I have been seeing good results with the Zone. Seems plants that are getting Zone in feed are fighting it off, but the ones flushing kept requiring some stylet. Bout to spray the veg tent and moms with eagle20 and are hittin em with the Zone now.

Sway- I wouldn't even use it on a flowering plant. I wouldn't even use it on a plant that was going into flower any time soon (within a week or two). Same with floramite. You win the PM battle (and mite battle for that matter) in the mother room, on your moms.

I had PM once. I used potassium bicarbonate (green cure) on all flowering plants to keep the PM in check. Once harvested i bleached the whole room and used Eagle on my mother room. Since the mother room was the only room left with plants, Eagle knocked out the PM, i took clones about a week later and haven't had to spray again. By the time I harvested it was about 100 days since I sprayed the plants. And the PM problem was resolved.

ncga is correct, the MSDS sheet for this product is nasty. Says use it only on turf, says it systematic and will be effective for up to 30 days. Not that it's gone out of the system at 30 days, but that it remains effective for 30 days. I would imagine there are lingering molecules from the product well after 30 days, and probably even detectable well after 60 days.

hey true that was what i was saying in my post i have used green cure post harvest right when i hang the plants. no one really complained about the taste at all. the only complaint was my bro said he got a headache at 1st, but he was there when i sprayed them(hypochondriac). as the bud cured for a week or so after the initial drying it did not bother him at all,no more headache. so i think it was from smoking not fully dry weed. but it will knock the pm off your buds.

Agreed bro, my tastiest herb the first crop was the last plant to finish and first to start PM in the room. And that plant I Green cured at harvest....

I mixed my Green Cure too strong and burned my pistols a bit.......didnt see your post in time before I mixed the batch up!!!
