Edible extracts with Orange oil (D-Limonene)

I read this...and plan to try it as soon I can get the food grade orange oil/ D-Limonene.

orange oil dissolves cannabis oils in a few seconds. But there is no harm in letting it soak for much longer. also if your going to eat the whole buds with the orang oil there is no risk of waste from only partly extracting. It works with fresh buds or dried older buds. but age can partly decarboxylate so try a small amount before you try a lot. Also d-limonene is a terpine naturally found in the cannabis plant.

might be easier and more efficient than the olive oil/crock pot method I use now

You ever think of using a QWET process with it for an extraction? or are you going to make an edible tonic , as it were, because i wonder how you would reduce the mass of the terpine solution?

I was kinda hopping a farmer that knew something about it whould reply here.

I dont think the orange oil will evaporate and leave the THC behind like a qwet

Im wondering if I can keep pouring the Orange oil in to new jars of trim,
from one jar to the next and just load the oil up with melted trichs :)

Im also wondering how much Orange oil I can consume ?
If its a solvent, will it eat my stomach ?

If I make it real strong that shouldn't be a problem...lol
And I could make Orange cup cakes :)

thanks for the info CaregverKen, your correct in that you could continue to use it with new trim jars and create a 'heavy concentrate' the question is going to be how much THC will it hold before becoming saturated then the big question,..... How do i consume it?

Im planning on capping it up..I may need to warm it..though..to activate it
..and also maybe trying to cook with it

I believe D-limonene is safe to use..never heard of it being used on canna before tho
