Well its been a while since I had to do this and it greatly pains me but Im cutting them all. Im sick of them, one is getting sick, they keep yellowing and its reaching the buds so thats a no no and all the foxtail ones except the one that Ive been taking pictures of are taking forever. I think we are past the 2 month mark and 4 of the foxtail ones look like theyre mid flower still. I give up, tried to feed them in all ways possibles and all quantities imaginable, they couldnt handle the 6/2 schedule even if it rained food every day for them. My guess is the root system cant keep up, old seeds, they were growing slow, so slow metabolism too, I made them overwork with that schedule and now theyre fucked.

The foxtail pheno doesnt have any green leaves anymore, in a matter of 2 days it depleted everything it had green except the bud leaves. Thankfully this one is ready so Im not worried, but the others... well you will see

Some dont look that bad, I think there's still 2 or 3 that are smokable, the rest will go for kief as planed. Im very dissapointed, in 2 days they went from bad to super bad, theyre trying to fatten the buds and they cant handle it.
EDIT: on the other hand I can finally start with good seeds now and the other indoors will be up soon too so I guess yay for that.

I guess Ill keep the ones that still have green leaves for a few more days but only 1 will be able to finish, the rest will canibalize themselves before that.
Also mind you that I clean the leaves every time they dry, all these dried leaves appeared in the span of 2 days, right when they started fattening for good. The biomineral fertilizers helped delay it, it seemed like it had stoped for a couple of days, but no, they still kept yellowing only slower and now in 2 days boom, most of the leaves gone in 4 of the remaining ones.

What I learned this grow: dont push shitty seeds with extreme schedules.

Im so excited! Finally going back to good seeds and super soil. I already know what Im gonna plant most likely but what would you choose? Up to 2-3.
1. RS11 x Banana OG (Barney's farm & Doja)
2. Bubble Gum Gelato (Barney's farm)
3. Banana Punch (Barney's farm)
4. Do-si-dos 33 (Barney's farm)
5. Kmintz (Ripper Seeds)
6. Amnesia Haze (Ripper Seeds)

Today I start preparing the super soil, gotta soak the good stuff into the biochar first.

it should make me feel a little bit better about my issues this grow but it doesn't. seeing plants that close to finish becoming unhealthy bums me out. time to focus on future successes and salvage what can be........

Old seeds with dubious genetics pushed with a 6/2 schedule instead of a 18/6 schedule, thats my assumption at least. Couldnt change the schedule once they started showing problems so I dimmed the lights a bit and changed to biomineral fertilizers instead of organics so they could eat faster and easier but seems like the root system or the metabolism of the plants still couldnt catch up with all the light so they ended up depleting all the fan leaves. All I accomplished by giving them more nutes is having to flush because the ppm got too high and they still wouldnt eat.
Out of 9, 5 of them were quite decent but 4 of them really sucked (which I assume was the lemon skunk, called it lemon haze before, it was auto lemon skunk, about 3 or 4, and very old, 3+ years with no protection against summer heat)

Its always sad seeing them unhappy but we learn stuff so we can give them the queen treatment that they deserve. Also some seeds are not meant to be born, I was playing with fire and I knew it but I refuse to buy auto seeds, served me well

it bums me to see some sweet stuff go astray but such is life. hopefully you can realize some sweet result with what you can facilitate. my plants are showing accelerated root development and posture improvements but i gotta tread lightly in order to peak their health as i don't want another grow where i end up with unhealthy mediocre bud.

being able to concentrate the weaker stuff should at least provide some content that will deliver nice results.

may not be a complete loss, when all is done and you can smoke the bud you will have a better view of the end result from what i would imagine. could be some of that bud will make you so very happy. i'm hoping the best of results is what you will encounter.

Yes, where I live we went from breaking heat records every day to now a week where it has been stormy and with autumn weather, its crazy hahaha now the heat returned but Im happy that it just so happens that I can start right away and I wont have to wait so my next grow is not on fire during flower, some years I have to either wait or do it anyway, most of the times I do it anyway because the more I have the more I smoke so I never have enough but yes bud that has been under 35ºC+ is not as tasty and you start getting shenanigans like random foxtailing, bud deformity, bad vpd, etc...

may not be a complete loss, when all is done and you can smoke the bud you will have a better view of the end result from what i would imagine. could be some of that bud will make you so very happy. i'm hoping the best of results is what you will encounter.

Im smoking it as of now, so far I smoked a skunky one, that was my favorite so far out of 2, probably a lemon skunk. Now Im smoking one that the lower buds taste awful but the upper ones are quite nice, lemony and sweet. The fact that I dont even know what Im smoking makes it more enjoyable too because Im happy that I can at least taste something when I try to know what Im smoking

Oh yeah and our friend pinny came out too, that one I smoked a couple of buds and hanged it with the ones Im gonna make into hash. Horrible taste, bitter, super pine resin taste. Just so happens that the leaves of those buds are heavily affected so I can see why the horrible flavor. Its not a nice e-pinene high terpene phenotype, its just fucked

when i have something piney i opt to set it on fire in the backyard, then i urinate on it, verbally insult it for a bit, maybe defecate on it and then finally set it on fire again while i smoke some sweet bud to instill a sense of inferiority in the douchy buds psyche. if i had nukes i would nuke the evil offender.

Well today is the day I try the foxtail phenotype I think. It better be dry because I smoked everything that was dry already. I dont have high hopes as all the leaves turned brown the last 2 days before harvest but hopefully she tastes fine because it has a massive cola. Still have not done any preps for the new grows except assembling the second indoors again, the heat got me crazy lazy but Im looking forward. I think I might prepare the soil today so it starts cooking but Im already late, dont know if Ill be able to let it cook for 3 weeks.
