You're fking with autos???? while they're in flower???? I'm not an auto guy but I thought that was a no no with auto's. I just let them grow but you've......abused.....yours....and???? no problem in flower....wtf .......something is not computing in my fuzzy grey matter?

Haha so the photos are about 1 foot tall, even after the LST. They still have another 4-6 weeks in veg before I think about flipping them, so they'll likely get some height in there. I'm planning on scrogging that tent, too.

As for the autos - I haven't done too much since the first week of flower. I didn't top, just trained. The one plant just grew pretty large, while the others stayed pretty small. The large one has 15ish tops, while the other 3 have between 5 and 8.

Tonight’s auto tent pic:

Bottom right is starting to bulk up and beginning to resemble a bud. Other than that, normal progress it seems with the rest.

The photo tent:

They look like Charlie Brown trees after I train and trim. I should start taking before pics

Here’s a top down view of each plant:

Lucid Dreams x Hells Kitchen:

White Widow A:

Silver Alert:

White Widow B:

White Widow C:

They all started at 10+ inches tall, now they’re between 8 and 9 inches.

I’ll like start topping some of them tomorrow as I’m running out of places to bend the main stems on a few.

Currently at about 4 weeks of veg. Thinking another 4 weeks, but that all depends on how tall they get.

Tonight’s auto tent pics:

My garden 2 Pac and Biggie came in today.

I watered/fed the bottom 2 plants - top 2 will prob need watering tomorrow or Monday.

I trimmed some leaves off the bottom left plant.

And color me surprised if these things don’t smell like strawberries. The other day there was just a hint of it, and tonight it was definitely stronger (though still light). Can’t wait to see what they end up smelling like as they get bigger!

The photo tent:

Before:

After:

Did some training, defoliating, and topped all of them except the white widow b (top left) as I want it to get one more node. The others all have between 5 and 7 nodes.

Took out a lot of leaves that were inward facing, completely shadowed, or were shadowing a potentially strong top.

I also removed any larfy looking spots as well.

Each bucket got another half gallon of orca treated water, and now it’s bedtime for the ladies :)

Tonight’s updates:

Auto tent:

Watered the back 2 plants, then just used the rest of the mix between the bottom 2. I’ll be feeding the bottom 2 tomorrow morning most likely.

Photo tent:

Did some light trimming and light training. Mixed up the buckets a little bit as some of the nutrients sank.

Other than that, they seem to be going well. The back right plant still isn’t topped, but soon.

Daily pics and updates:

The photo tent:

The only things I did in here tonight were:

Changed the risers on all plants: I had extra pipe laying around, so I cut some more legs up and gorilla glued them to the risers. Last night when I removed one of the plants, the setup fell apart, and it always felt a little too unstable for my comfort, so instead of tempting fate, I took care of it.

The back right white widow plant, while growing, seems to be struggling to get any growth. I think it’s the position of her under the light. I’ll need to measure the intensity on her to find out.

Next up, the autos:

I was planning on watering the bottom 2 plants today, but they still have enough weight in the pots (and my soil meter confirmed) to wait until tomorrow.

Humidity was a tad high today in the mid 60’s, so I had my tent open for a few hours. Now it’s sitting at around 61%.

Here’s some close ups:

The hygrometer says 55%, but that’s because I had the tent open :p

Daily update:

Auto tent:

Only needed to water the bottom left plant. Aside from that, I turned the light up a notch and raised it a few inches.

Photo tent:

Just took a pic, nothing else. Giving them some time to recover from the topping, training, and defoliating. Probably do some trimming and training tomorrow night though.

Also, the back right plant def has the lowest light in the tent. Part of the issue is the light only came with 1 cable, so I ordered a few extra so I can hang it more appropriately. Those should be here on Friday sometime.

Tonight’s photo updates!

The auto tent:

I need to clean out my humidifier catch bucket. Plz disregard for now

Getting fatter and more pungent! My bunching onions, red onions, and peppers have all sprouted in here as well

The photo tent:

Pre-defoliating and training:

Post:

3 out of 5 of the water pumps died yesterday, so I’m just returning them since they lasted less than a week.

Other than that, they seem to be doing well. I don’t think I removed too much from them. Here’s the pile from all 5 plants:

Lots of little fan leaves pointing inward to the main stalk, some larfy areas, and a handful of larger leaves that were covering some bud sites.

Tonight’s pics:

The auto tent:

Watered them all up, and that’s about it. They’re all in full on flower, so it’s time to sit back and watch.

The photo tent:

Added 1/2 gallon to each bucket, so they have about a gallon each in there right now, maybe less. I want to let the buckets dry out so I can clean them and do a test run for when I have the scrog in place, but the items I need for it won’t be here til Sunday, so I’m just giving them something to tide them over.

No training or defoliating tonight.

Thanks mate! I’m glad I finished that room off and tossed a 4x4 in there. I feel like it’s going to be easier to grow in there.

Tonight’s pics:

Auto tent:

Didn’t do anything today - just letting them do their thing.

The photo tent:

The light hangers came in and I was able to set it up so the light is now more evenly distributed across the plants. They’re all getting between 29k and 31k lux, except the back row middle, which is getting the most around 35k.

Didn’t do anything else in here tonight, and likely won’t until tomorrow or Sunday night.

Thanks!

I like trying different things just to see how they turn out lol Maybe one day I'll grow some balls and try the Kushman super cropping method haha. I was going to use the red clips on my last grow, but I was too nervous and haven't seen too many people use them. I'm glad I did try them this time, though I'm still learning on the best times and places to use them.

Today’s pics:

The photo tent:

Nothing getting done in here today. Maybe tomorrow night or Monday. I got an idea and some info from a member here on how to do a better setup for the self watering system, so I’m going to try and fashion something Monday after work when I run out to acquire the parts.

The auto tent:

Watered the 2 bottom plants and staked the bottom left with some left over dowels I had from a previous house project.

The ladies are coming along.

Daily update:

Auto tent:

These girls are just getting more plump each day. Their aroma is getting strong too. Didn’t do anything to them today. I may have to stake the lower right one in the next few days.

The photo tent:

After training and defoliating:

I took off a decent amount of leaves and larf spots from all the plants, did more training with the 90 degree clips, and removed some clips where the branches were outgrowing them.

I also added about a half gallon of water + nutrients to each bucket.

Yeah, I'm really liking the way this training method is shaping the plants. I can't wait to see what kind of buds these all produce.

I'll be doing some modifications to the photo tent on Saturday, most likely. I have some new stuff arriving throughout the week to help make my auto watering setup a bit easier for when I scrog, plus I ordered plastic trellis netting since it seems like reusing the fabric ones aren't a good idea, even if washed.

Edit: Also, there were 2 smaller branches (about 8" or so) that I snipped, tossed into a glass of water, and will move them to some soil tomorrow morning. It's a half assed attempt to clone, so I'm not expecting it to work, but if it does, great!

Can you elaborate or share why not to use fabric nets? I was going to reuse mine but now you got me worried lol

It's not that you can't use them, it's about reusing them. I guess they can't be cleaned / sterilized very well so you could risk passing on any issues from one grow to the next.

I snagged this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PP3KXWQ

I still have 1 2x4' fabric net that I can use in my 2x4 tent. I'm not 100% sold that the fabric ones can't be reused, but since I also needed some trellis stuff for my veggie garden, this will work for that purpose as well.
