Dear Experts,

This is my first time on forum asking this type of question because I never tried it. I need your help and advice to proceed.

I have been smoking weed and hash since I was 15 but that was always with tobacco (Joint, roll, pipe etc). From past 3 years almost I have been smoking hash on a charcoal by just dropping a small piece and inhaling the smoke. And now I plan to quit smoking as its hurting my body, but I am not able to quit it because I don't have any other way to smoke hash.

In middle east, I have access to hash ONLY (If you are lucky, you get weed) and I need to extract oil from it so that I can use a tool to smoke it.

I will appreciate if you all can guide me on how can I extract oil from hash and smoke it? If I understand it correct (Please correct me if I am wrong) I can consume oil by using some sort of vaporizer (http://torontovaporizer.ca/portable-vaporizers.html).

If there are any equipment which will help the extraction process easy then please do let me know and as well as smoking it.

Dissolve in hexanes or ethanol, preferably hexanes. Filter to remove solid material (syringe filters will work well for small amounts--various fine screens, like silk screens, will work for larger amounts).

Vacuum purge to remove the solvent. You can find instructions for this process elsewhere on the board.

Depends what solvents you have access to. ISo? Butane? Ethynol?

We've extracted hash with butane, hexane, and ethanol.

I originally extracted my oil from bubble using ethanol, to avoid chlorophyll and water solubles, but have since switched to extracting using a non polar solvent.

We now use a 1 1/2" X 6" column on the Mk IIIA terpenator, to extract a blonde cotton candy. I use four 10 second floods.

It doesn't dissolve very fast just soaking, so you might consider using a thermos to lengthen the time.

Hashsoul; Yes , those Vaporizer pens work well with the oil..

unless ya have access to a vacuum purge, i'd go with ethanol as a solvent. hexane and butane you don't want to be vapin residual amounts of. ethanol would concern me less.

Good point

Everclear or plain ole 99% iso rubbing alcohol work well too

I have find out what is available in the local market? If the once you mentioned are available then which one is preferred one? I know for sure the Butane will be available but I have seen Butane will go with weed in the tube.

If i am not mistaken then Ethynol should be available in hardware stores?

Since I am new to all this and being in Middle East, seems like I need to get "Extraction for Dummies" lolzzz

Please tell me the process... I will check the local stores tomorrow for the equipment and solvents I need.

yeah I hate cleaning those..you will need some strong alcohol to clean it

I will be ordering the equipment soon, and if I need vacuum purge then that's it... I will go for it...

How will this method work?

Mk IIIA terpenator seems bad ass! I dont think as a starter I will be able to handle that.... I think I should be goin for a less complicated method.

I love to try using Mk IIIA terpenator through!

I dont know a lot..but I feel like typing...lol :p
Vac purge stuff is good to have for sure..
There are videos on You tube ( can you see that where you live?)

I dont think you can put hash in a tube and blast it with butane.
.so,I think Gray Wolf was suggesting you use a Thermos to soak the hash in the Butuane
(Im guessing the butane will stay liquid in the thermos)
after the hash soaks and dissolves, then you could pour it though a coffee filter to clean it
when the butane is gone...Vac purge the oil while warm(110*f)(?) for as long you can

But I'm not an expert...never done it:confused:

Now that's more like it... Thank for typing it! :) I can see the videos without any issues on youtube... Thank God I am still on planet :P

Here is what I will be doing...

1- Soak the 1/4 pond of hash in Butane
2- Pour though the coffee filter
3- Vacuum purge it

and to do this I would need, Vacuum purge equipment (Any suggestions where and what to order), Butane and what else?

Any good site where I can order everything together?
