You will get different readings for a couple of reasons.
The LEDs are not perfect and give slightly different amounts of photons from each other.
The lenses on them aren't perfect either and they diffuse light.

Is yours the 3000, 3500 or 4000?

You would use Low CRI at the number of your model.

So I’m getting 5k in the middle the 4K a little away from the middle 3k next to the wall of my tent and 2k in a corner

so I’m the center I’m getting 801.85umol/s/m2

Dr. Bruce likes 1000umols/m2 for the entire area because the plants can handle it. More than that is likely strain dependent.

That's how the lights work. Best in the center. That's another reason I like the strip lights. You can spread them out and even up your lighting.

I think the app adjusts based on the lux number because it's still very close to the same number.

X 10 =

Result: 817.89 umol/s/m2

But that isn’t throughout the tent. So I should lower the light ?

was my light not good for this tent? I got it thinking it was good enough .

I guess I’ll lower the light and not touch the dial keeping it at 100%

Your light will give you a very good grow. These numbers are ideals that are not always met.
All lights on a board have the same issue, which is another reason I prefer strip lights.

Get a ruler and move your meter closer or farther from the light to see where it needs to be.

Honestly on 18/6 600 ppfd is plenty he does not have the co2 or environment to really push.

Hell even with co2 and complete control the highest I can get is around 65k in 18/6 veg before stress is to much. On 12/12 I have hit 85k max but usually 75k is where they are happy.

You can't do 1000ppfd for 18 hrs. You will fry them.

If just flipped to 12/12 start at 45-50k and slowly work up to 60-65k if the handle it.

400-600ppfd veg and 600-900max if no co2 under 1200. Trust me bro I have tested intensity a lot on my grows.

Adjust the height to get even spread as possible while getting about 45k lux. It's likely if you have the height you can run it on max and achieve that.

so should I just leave my light where it’s at do you think? Or should I lower it so I can get a higher ppd on the plants next to the tent walls and corners

And this is why you need a dimmer switch on any light you get with a light meter as well.

Get 45-550k max in the brightest. Adjust the height and intensity to get it the most even. It's not going to be perfect bro... it maybe 10k lower at the corners.
