I got 2 Filipino Kibungan Landrace Sativas growing with 3 other ladies.

These seeds are from Khalifa Genetics and the strain originates near Benguet, Philippines

They are in week 6 and the taller one is showing female preflowers now.

The smaller one is not showing gender as i topped it at the 7th node last week and the branch tops are growing exactly as i want them to for.training during the 7 week flower stretch.

Temps are 78F day 72F night
Humidity 50% to 60%

The Tall girl is 18" and i wrapped a Scrog net around the tomato cage to help aid horizontal training during the stretch.

Week 7

Temps and humidity are the same as week 6.

I watered them yesterday with 1 gal each with 1tsp Recharge per gallon.

I've been using Recharge since week 4. I used Myco+ Root Innoculant for the first 3 weeks.

They are going gangbusters. More female preflowers popping up on the taller plant.
The smaller plants preflowers aren't fully developed yet so I'll have to keep checking everyday to make sure it's not male. But males usually show their preflowers earlier than females.

The largest plant is 22" now. The smaller one is 14".

I have placed a Scrog net 6" above the tomato cages in the tent to prepare for a long wild stretch period.

I'm going to flip them in a few days to let them all recover from my lollipopping the lower couple nodes and canopy defoliation.

The small plant is showing nute burn.

Week 7 approaching
Light schedule was changed 12/12 last Monday.

Temps are 78F to 72F
Humidity is around 55%

Light intensity adjusted to around 550 par or 27K Lux.

The taller one is 27" now so she's stretching good. The smaller one is catching up at 19".

Still can't ID the preflowers yet on the smaller plant.

Lots of leaves being made by the tallest one.

Week 9 Starting now.

Temps are 72F to 79F
Humidity around 52%
Height is 40 inches.

Light schedule is now 11/13 to match Baguio, Philippines day/night cycle during flowering time there.
Since she's a pure Sativa landrace to get her to start bud making. Only lots of preflowers right now.

Feed is changed to Tridents Pride 2-4-1 Fish Hydrolysate at about 800ppm.
It is buffered with Potassium Bicarbonate to bring the pH up to 6.5

Watering is every 3 days. Feeding is every other watering.

She is still stretching about an inch a day. I have LST her 2 times and now it'll be the ScroG net soon.

She has bushed out even more lateral branches to fill in the middle and gaps between the other 3 plants.

No deficiencies showing. Healthy vigorous and stems and leaves have a tropical fruity smell to them.

SCRoG me baby one more time. Lol.

She was 44" still just shooting preflowers at week 4 flower. 3 weeks of stretch left.

Looks like I'll barely keep her under 56".
I may have to raise up the other 3 plants in buckets so I can keep the canopy level and lighting uniform.

Right now the canopy is pretty even.

Starting week 6 of flower and Hopefully there's only 2 more weeks of stretch lol.

Temps are 79F to 72F
Humidity is running between 45% to 50%
She's 49 inches tall now.

Feeding her 700ppm every other watering.
Alaskan Morbloom 0-10-10 and Trident's Pride 2-4-1 Fish Hydrolysate.

I removed the ScroG temporarily. I'm going put it back in today in case more LST is needed and to support the colas.

She seems to be starting to throw out more calyxs at the top. I hope this means she's going to start making buds and not stretch more.

She's probably got 8 to 10" left before it's an issue being too close to the light.

Temps are same
Humidity is 45 to 50%
She is 53" now

Her upward growth may be stopping now. She's making buds as more pistils emerge from the colas and now buds in junction points are starting to form.

She's stretching like a mf. How's the yield with pure sativas? Looks like this isn't your first time growing this strain?
Its the first time growing that strain and a pure sativa. It's supposed to be a beginner friendly Sativa too. It can handle poor and rich soil.

The yield will depend on the pheno. But I read if you grow it the whole way through that they can yield more than Indicas.

In 3 weeks the other 3 plants should be ready to chop. Then I'm putting her in the center and spreading those tops out with the ScroG net to finish her
Do you only grow indoors? It seems like outdoor growing is best for this type of plant. It's awesome that you're growing landraces. It's all hybrids nowadays. Can't wait wait for you to have a smoke report with her.

Yeh only indoors because my neighbors are too close and VA law says neighbors can't be able to see and has to be inaccessible to children.
Oh btw, I see you using tomato cages. I'm curious how much close to weed are tomatoes?
