Well all my final tent is now done. I manages to get two star ryder seeds to germinate and go from seedling to veg and now.............. THE BLOOM PHASE!
I'll give you all a run down of my tent first then pics.
TENT
2'x4'x6' mylar lined tent with four 4" ports
Hydroponics
Two 5 gallon buckets each with 6" net basket and surrounded by a 6" drip ring
Baskets are full of hydroton
Baskets are surrounded by an 8" diameter plastic pot that goes down 8"
Ventalation
Intake: 5000btu ac ducted from a 8" kitchen hood duct via 4" ducting
Exhaust: 4" fan ducted to carbon filter with a suction power of 200cfm
Air circulation: 12" oscillating fan
Lighting
300w (189 drawn w) 6 band led/ir/uv/12k lumen LED panel
300w (200 drawn w) 2 blue bane wvl, 4 red band wvl LED panel
300w (200 drawn w) 2 blue band, 4 red band LED panel
CFL panels
1: four x 55w 2700k 14400 lumens cfl panel
2: four x 55w 2700k 14400 lumens cfl panel
3: two x 55w 2700k 7200 lumens/ two x 65w 2700k 8600 lumes 15800 lumes cfl panel
4: two x 55w 2700k lumens/ two x 65w 2700k 8600 lumes 15800 lumes cfl panel
Metering
Digital hygro/therm
Analogue hygro/therm
Climate control for ac to turn in on or off depending on tent temp
Humidifier to up humidity if needed
Dehumidifier to lower humidity in flower stage to prevent mold
OUTSIDE OF TENT
Reservoir
5 gallon bucket with 12L water supplied in it
Oxygenation system
Two x 7lpm air pumps attached to 1"x1" stones
Dual outlet 8lpm air pump attached to 2x 4"x1" stones
Cooling system
Two 25L capacity 75w water chillers fed by 70gph pumps, both set at 17°c
Irragation system
450gph pump connected to 1/2" tubing connected to 1/2" to 3/8" coupling the 3/8" hose is sent into the tent where a t-bridge splits the water into two flow. Both lead up to another coupling, switched back to 1/2" and attached to ring.
Water return system
Water in bucket of right side of tent is pumped via 300lph pump into the other one, where a 196gph pump returns the water to the reservoir.
All the pumps use hydrofarm 15 incrimant Analogue timer and while the reservoir pump does a 30 min watering the return pumps will do a 45 min return to get all water back in res.
Metering
Hanna grochek continuous ph/tds/ppm/us/temp meter (love this thing just put in probes and get instantaneous readings whenever, altho you must calibrate still!)
Nutrients/chemicals/other
Grow phase: sensi grow a&b
Bloom phase: sensi bloom a&b
Both phases: Hygrozine, fulmic acid, ph up/down, safer soap insecticide/pesticide
So that's it my tent! Took me 4 months if researching guides, teks, forum posts and srickys, online resources and reading two 500+ page growing bibles and a book on growing weed hydroponically. Didn't buy a thing or attempt anything till I know I wanted to do this but I also what to do this the right way, go all out and make this not a hobby but something of a passion. And I can say I've found the passion, I love doing this, I have Wicked add but when I do this I'm just in this zen zone the so positive and relaxing I know that prolly sounds lame but hey it makes me happy!
This tent is the 3rd out of 3 gradual building and designing, as the plants grew. Not good I know but I have a few years in engineering lol can't help it!.
Anyways on to its stats:
Light cycle: 24/0
Watering cycle: 30min at 12am & 12pm with a quick 15 min watering at 4pm
Nutrients atm: sensi bloom a&b current TDS 1125ppm
PH atm: 6.32 (after I write this gonna lower it to 5.8-5.9)
Current water temp: 66.7°F(just realized the chillers were heating each other up chiller shuffle)
Current tent temp: 78°F
Current tent rh%: 51% rh
So just to give idea to you of my normal ranges here they are:
Tent
Temp:74-76°F
%rh:40-55%rh (need dehumidifier! )
Reservoir
Water temp:61-63°F
Ph: 5.8-6.0
Tds:1100-1200ppm
D/o: 30 liters worth of air a min lol
Sorry for the long post I just have no one the I can talk to about this kinda stuff. I love doing this so much and it'd great because I'm a mmu so I *save* bbut yea I think this will for sure be a life long thing, hopefully career of some branch.
