Hey guys!! After endlessly hunting for that nasty funk skunk bo smelling strain that I lost years ago my mission has come to an end!!! I was getting frustrated with so many fruity stupid weak strains that had almost no smell .. I was looking for the smell that stayed on your fingers for a few days after touching a bud, the stuff that gets people popped, you know, mandatory carbon filter funk. I decieded to take one last shot and got some "flyingdutchman classic skunk" seeds. I'm so happy I did because the second seed I popped ended up being a solid indica that had gooey golf balls up the entire stem, top to bottom.. The smell is very dangerous if your not using a top of the line carbon filter. Even when you are, the cutting and drying process needs to be done in a sealed environment, basically you can never put this bud in the open air or your screwed, glass jars don't help much either...
I'm not sure of the odds of finding this pheno but I can 100% tell you that they are in there, I am known to be very lucky finding keepers but this was a challenge... It's taken years of dissapointment to finally find this.
The high is red eyes couchlock good movie on a rainy day type. I cloned the hell out of the plant (good cloner) and will post pictures of the plant and buds very soon. I hope others looking for this type of weed will be helped with this and I wish everyone luck in their hunt. This will also be my first attempt to breed a plant because really want to solidify the genetics so I will never have to go through the feeling of missing such a great plant again. The cheeses are OK but nothing like this and 99% of skunks are not near worthy of being called skunk at all.

I have seeds from when I was in Afghanistan, after this grow journal is finished I'm going to pop 40, I was waiting on my new room to be built. My boy also has a can of seeds from Pakistan, might hunt those as well. Probably find the best 5 males and hit 5 clones and see who keeps the smell and adds a little extra. I'm also looking for a sin city male Blue Power to hit it with.

For some reason i find that the smaller and more stocky the plant is the stronger the smell. My last true armpit skunk I found that was eye watering putrid was the same build as this one, they both grew exactly the same. And the leaves are dark green and have that nice shine to them (also same as my last one) ...I'll post pictures for you guys tonight...

Density is incredible on this plant, these things are rock solid and the smell of skunks with BO overpowers everything in the house and garden ⚠⚠⚠ this tiny 18 inch tall plant had 4oz on it and flowers in 55-65 days (pic taken on day 55)

see what makes this really cool is you know some character traits of the skunky BO type plants. Like the short stocky and shiny green leafs. gonna buy these beans just for the chance of finding that skunk pheno. thank you for the info!

Honestly, who knows what the hell are in seeds now days, everytime I buy skunk seeds I end up with some crazy plant that's more northern light X some sativa... Never like a real skunk...1 thing is for sure though, it's always these greasy golf ball shorty indicas that have the true bo skunk smell. Never got that smell off a sativa, or anything crossed with it.

I feel ya. Island sweet skunk, skunk #1, pineapple skunk. Early skunk, etc......... a lot of different citrus scents and tastes. I love them all but what happened to the funk skunk? I just am not sure those short girlls are a true skunk varietal. Anyways, the most important thing is u found fire!

That plant looks awesome without the roadkill smell best of luck with her bro , as much as I would like to find a skunky strain like that I might have to move if I did as I wouldn't wanna deal with the smell and I couldn't toss it.....

Best of luck with her

That's how I lost my first one, I almost got popped because it was just too strong of a smell to contain, no matter what setup you had the smell would just permeate through walls.. I had to chop it down early and stuff it in a bag to dry it at another location, after that I was scared to flower it again. Now I can handle the smell and have been hunting because after you've had a plant with that strong of a smell nothing else does it. 90% of strains smell weak as hell for some reason, almost like people are breeding the qualitys out of them in order to get a good yield..... Sad.

It's funny how every grow I read about people say " man the smell of pineapple grapefruit is over powering " or something along those lines.... After growing for more then 15 years I call bullshit on most, I have to really hunt for a proper smelling pheno, 1 outta maybe 50 plants have a strong fragrance yet most seem to get them with every grow.. For a while I thought I was doing something wrong but soon realized that if a plant smells it smells and most people were just full of shit...
