@Planter01 -- Beautiful healthy productive looking grow!

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned; what size is your grow room, and what size pots are you growing in?

I'm sketching out the rebuild of an old detached garage on my property, and I'm thinking about building out some actual rooms and leaving small tents behind (I've been using a 3x3 and a 2x4). I'm doing some preliminary foot-print mapping of how many plants I can comfortably fit in different sized spaces. With tents its always been about seeing how many I can squeeze in, if I build a room (or rooms) I'd like some space to move around in. 2/3's of the garage is already accounted for with shop benches and storage, so I don't have very much space left to work with, but it could be enough.

@Possibly This was my first run with the LED'S and on top of that I had a dozen different varieties to contend with. I wish I could have framed out a bigger area but it is what it is and that is 13Lx4Wx5H. LED'S opened up a whole new world for me. It means I can go all out with 5 feet of height. I'm already putting together the stock to build out another room 8x4.5x5. The new room won't be studded 16 on center with sheathing on both sides and a plywood ceiling and floor covered in FRP. Talk about an overburdened.
I used three gallon pots this time because pot size make a huge difference in how big your plants can get and I didn't want huge plants first go round. Next time I'll use 5 gallon short pots and veg the girls a bit longer. Gotta find that sweet spot where you maximize yield with very little additional time invested.
I will say that it's pretty tight quarters in my space. With floor space that's only four feet wide it's NOT very comfortable but there is room enough for me to smoke a fatty (they like that. They told me.) and crank the wireless Bluetooth speaker. I don't know what lights your working with but ceiling height is no longer a limitation.
PS I've got a shit ton of faith the I will yield at least 50% more next grow and this grow is not even done.

I've been using COBs for the last half dozen grows, but recently bought an HPS -- first for outdoor use, and then in a tent. This buildout (of the garage itself) that I'm doing will include insulation, so if the outer room maintains temps well I'll ditch the inexpensive HPS and go back to 100% COBs. This last winter in an experimental grow out there, the heat the HPS produced saved the grow at one point. I don't have height restrictions, I can go about 7'6" vertically if I build spaces there. I started with COB/LED because if heat issues, my first run was with a crazy number of CFLs in closets I converted, and they built up a surprising (to me) amount of heat.

I only know one way to build, so I'll probably end out with 16 on center studs for my rooms. I don't mind over-building on principle, environmentally speaking its not too friendly, so I'll cut back when I think of it. For instance I could make the outer "box" of the room 2x4's, and then rip the rest down and the on 16's could be 2x2's. I'm sure that would hold it together.

Dialing in the room, soil, lights, that's half the fun. I always grow different plants in the same circumstances, because some will like it and others don't -- and I don't go changing major components to find out later it was just that one strain that did not do well with those nutes/lights/etc.

This is an awesome "hobby", as the best hobbies are bottomless pits and this one definitely qualifies! My grows got better and better, then I got lazy and a couple got a bit sketchy, now I'm realizing how the girls keep me on my toes and that's a good thing.

Very interesting please keep on bringing that knowledge. I did my first run with cheap amazon leds but im looking into chip on board for my next lights.

My first COB flowering cycle. This was about 5 weeks in. Unfortunately had a lot going on in life and I wasn't able to give them the time they deserved. Vegged way to long, but I just put my new clones into flower, all intensive low stress training.
14 clones about a 1.75' tall and fat round bushes with 7-8 even tops per lady.

Hey man righteous grow. Solid COB setup. Thanks for the bud porn. Most could only hope to mimic. Good job.
PS who's balls are those hangin on that fence?

Well it's a done deal. It's a little bittersweet because I let a pair of hermie Bubbledawg/Chicle taint the rest of the girls. All of them have a few seeds but it is what it is. The Strawberry Amnesia has a chit ton of seeds but it's my favorite smoker so far so that's what I'm going to do to it. I made it to the benchmark of a gram per watt but I'm confident I can improve on that.

Well things seem to be moving along pretty well. First grow with LED's and went with a DIY setup with 18-3590 COBS and the drivers to go with them. I've got 13 different varieties going. I had planned on thinning them down to 9 but I didn't have the heart. I'm also using this first run to refine my training techniques. I've LSTed, Topped, FIMed, and super cropped. I'm just stunned at the density of the growth and the tightness of the nodes. I flipped at five weeks from 20/4 to 12/12 last night so off we go. I'm thinking things are going to work out just fine.

I guess I'm just excited. I generally like to keep my grows to myself as much as possible but I also think I need to share with other kindred spirits./Bone Heads.
I need to buy or ask as a pts person that was in the military and somebody that has skin cancer I would really appreciate if somebody anybody racist post if they could sell me point me in the right direction or give me I would even pay for shipping a few seeds for or 5 Max would be fine I just completed my DIY cob clu48 1212. 8 cob. If I had all a cops on you would not be able to see the light and I'm still wiring up my three white LED movies and red but I have some UVA and some Reds 3 Watts
