First Grow Diary No Til

Hey everyone I'm starting my first no til grow, will be growing Josh D OG from Karma.
Regular Seeds
Genetics: SFV x TK X HA-OG
Flower: 9 to 11 weeks

Planted 4 seed to soil March 1st, growing in a 2x4 tent with a 2x4 raised bed, SF2000 spider farmer (2020 model). Currently have them with some free tomato plants I got at the local nursery.

Soil Mix
30 gallons Peat Moss
24 gallons Worm Casting
(2 cu ft aurora, .7 cu ft worm golf plus, 8qt black gold, 30lb Wiggle Worm)
14 gallons pumice
13 gallons rice hulls
BAS coots recipe amendments

Was able to source everything locally but the coots amendment. Still got some mixing to do and will be watering tommorow and then cooking. Should be ready by the time I see some sprouts.

Do you plan on building layers in your pots? After you have mixed all your top soil put 2” of 3/4 rock in the bottom and fill the same two inches with sand. Water it in real good. Then do 4” of your top soil with a 1/2 part silt and 1/2 part clay 2 parts top soil. Then 8” of top soils. This mimics natures natural layers.

@Natep No I will not be, But I am considering putting a thin layer of pumice in the middle to encourage root growth. Will be watering 5% of soil only so about 4 gallons.

Seeds have popped but roots are facing out the ground. Just watered.

Here is the current Set Up, 3 of the Josh D are alive (smaller containers). The other 3 seeds are Blueberry cookies cement shoes x wilson. Those will be moved into a 3x3 tent. Also noticed this on the leaves of the Josh D if anyone knows what's going one let me know!

Did you soak your seeds in water and/or use paper towel until you had a tap root and then planted or did you plant the seed directly?

I wait until I have a tap root to plant and no matter what it looks like, I put the tap root tip down, even if the the tap root is curved because the root will keep going down as the seed swings up.

I've never had a seed come up upside down so just curious what your process was.
