So, next grow will be the beginning of a perpetual harvest.

I’m putting up a veg tent next week, where I’ll propagate and veg. I’m dividing the flower tent into four sections with hope of one section getting harvested and every couple of weeks.

I like a little variety!

Just got my seeds...whoo hoo!

Of course I still have to harvest this grow in a few weeks, but we’ll drop a few of these seeds next week. Decisions, decisions...

scaryy. I run my fan and filter on the ground outside of my tent. Only holding up about 10lbs in the tent that way. There is just no way id trust anything over 15lbs on my $80 dollar 4x4 tent. Nope. Nope lol.

I think I’m about a week and a half from harvest, give or take. Debating about how, whether and when to flush. Curious to hear any thoughts on the subject.

I always flush in coco. I start dropping nutes off the last couple weeks, and for the last week they get plain water with Cannazym and Cannaboost only. I want the runoff PPM to be below 300before chopping... i consider that "flushed"

I start running just Remo Nature’s Candy in RO water 2-3 weeks before chop.

May I know your reasons why?

Plants can't do anything with those sugars, and your not running microbes.

Only really getting amino acids.

Ah I'm sorry. I swore you said you didn't. Glad sugars are helping you. Was wanting to try the same.

I have a new theory on flushing.

We already know too much phos causes a really bad chemical taste in the bud.

If the tissue reports tell us we don't need tons of phos.

And we know organic guys don't flush. Perhaps from the plant not up taking it by choice.

Maybe... flushing is just allowing the plant to push out extra phos to the leaves.

sounds logical at least.

Yeah. I run RAW bloom microbes throughout flower. I flush the coco with it once a week. About 2 weeks before I plan to chop, I switch to just the Natures Candy. This feeds the microbes in the coco and allows them to breakdown any residual nutes. It’s also wise to inoculate with good microbes before the bad ones move in. It also contains sulfur which does improve the natural flavor. I do not believe the NC “sweetens” the bud at all. However, it does result in a smoother more pleasant smoke after curing. I’ve been growing for a few years now and I’ve flushed with lots of different products and even no products. So far this has worked out the best for me. Remo himself does it for the last 3 weeks but he grows in a peat based mix. He was asked why he does that long of a flush when most nutrient manufacturers only recommend a week flush. He said “because they want to sell you more nutes”. This from a guy that sells nutes. Awesome guy!

I have only 5 harvest under my belt... but. Nice. I was gonna do similar but different route. Slf 100, then liquid bonemeal for around a week. Depending. Ripening flush. Let it finish up the nutes in the soil, and fan leaves. Try to reproduce fall.

Nutes for a week cost me maybe 1.15cents. The extra weight is worth it on my tiny scale

Sounds like a plan. SLF100 is good stuff. I just grow for myself so weight is not a determining factor. I want taste, smoothness, quality, and a nice effect. BTW, bud weight is influenced more by the quality and strength of your light source and plant genetics, than by which nutrients you use. Going from a 400w HPS to an HLG 550v2 added way more weight than any nutrient brand I tried. Plus for me, running nutes longer in the hopes of a few extra grams after cure just makes the smoke tastes like shit. I am interested to see how that liquid bone meal works out for you.

Well said. I'm hitting 28,000-30,000 lux on the plant. Round cool tubes dont distribute light very far but boy does it focus it. I do need to get a 600w some day. Once I find work.

Bonemeal is what I flushed with last harvest. Was great. Dont see why not this time.
