When will you accept the fact that growing in coco can be treated the same as growing in hydro? Coco is just the medium for the roots to hold on and you can't get rootbound in hydro, can you?

You really need to broaden your horizons man. There are so many ways to skin the cat.

I think flushing helps get rid of old salts collected in the system because coco absorbs many nutes itself, so cleansing the system once a month maybe necessary. That's what I feel

I never mentioned any feeding. At least not the plants directly. Feed the soil not the plants!

:) ok smart arse I meant do u put feed in everytime u give your plants a drink if that's the case chances are high that there's guna be in balances going on at some point I suppose it will depend on what your giving it and for how long for me it doesn't seem to matter what I grow in I always get 20 oz + per 600w light everything always looks lush and healthy all the way through I'm more of a prevention is better than cure kinda guy and ime this helps a lot

You're right. That's why I said before that flushing coco is a must. Also try to feed with 10% run off as that will also remove built up salts from the medium. If you'll grow the same strain over and over again in the same environment with the same parameters you might end upnmastering your technique to the point no flush will be needed.

How much yield can be usually expected from a plant if it's just grown without pruning or lollipoping

And yes u can get root bound in anything if the root has no where else to go the plant starts to suffer until it's allowed to go again :) if it was impossible to get root bound in coco why don't u just use little party cups and what's the need for anything larger than that

Well I don't know the strain I'm growing and I highly doubt I'll get it anywhere else.. Its a land strain, really rare strain too. So mastering this strain is not happening

You can always take cuts and grow them over and over again.

They can be kept small if needed in very little space it will also allow for u to bring up cuts and get a good start in them before going into your main room :)

Another spot for veg yes, but you can skip the mother by taking cuts of vegging cuts and keep them going over and over again

So, I'm running 250 watt cfl. According to what you said can expect a yield of 250g? Lol that's way more than what I expected

My grow room is really very primitive. It's for my consumption only.. So you know having 2 rooms running those lights will cost a lot, given my lack of experience. Maybe once I get the hang of growing I can do that
