First grow issues?

I have a 32x32x63 setup in a small spare bedroom. Planning on keeping it out of the tent and dehumidify the room.

I really get nervous trimming on the girls, and it’s super bushy in there cause I just can’t take too much lol. But yeah every grow is different and everything has pros and cons. I’m stressing out now about hermie’s LOL

Don’t be nervous just go for it. Chopchop. Time is ticking. Airflow is key in flower.

If your RH is 60 at night you should try and lower it ASAP. You are starting to get flower and bud rot likes humidity. Try and get the humidity down to 50 or 45 percent with lights out. Also I would recommend removing the lower 1/3 of growth off the plant. It will not really product anything and that is where alot of problems start. Plant should have no leaves or buds the bottom 1/3. Middle third should be fan leaves and the top 1/3 should be fan leaves and flowers. The old school method was to count down about 5 nodes and remove any buds below that mark. I tend to push that a little.
Overall looking great!!!!

+1 on the dehuey and nightime humidity.

Also dehumidify the room the tent is in not the tent itself

Thanks everyone. Aqua, the best change I made was moving my humidifier in veg on the outside of the tent, I read your advice to someone in a pat thread that helped so much!

I trimmed what my nerves would let me, I know I could have done more, but we’ll see how they turn out. I ordered the next size up that humidifier company has and it should be here Thursday. I had a scare today when I went in the light had turned off. I had to reprogram the timer and it worked the rest of the day. We’ll see if it comes on like it’s supposed to in the morning. I hope I didn’t hurt too much during that time, which at worst was 3 hours.

It’s been a stressful week with the girls. Still having humidity issues at night, I’ll probably go get a much bigger dehumidifier this weekend, the one I got isn’t helping.

I’m in a really small bedroom that has an AC outlet and have no problems with temps, but at night the temps fall in the tent and humidity goes up to around 70%. I’ve got plenty of airflow in the tent, it’s driving me crazy. I haven’t seen any PM or anything. I know I need to get it down though. I think 3 plants is definitely too many for a 32x32. I see now during my first grow I can fill this tent up with 1 plant.

Right now I’ve settled on 3 passive intakes, and adjusting the exhaust fan to have a slight negative pressure. There’s a couple of pics of the intakes, the other is behind the back plant. I’m thinking just a big ass dehumidifier lol

Also had this issue on a couple of leaves on the plant on the right. Ppm runoff was getting high, so I have been flushing with a low ppm mix for the last few days and have brought the runoff down. I think on my waterings I need to saturate the medium more. I think I’ve solved this issue tho!

And it looks to me like a phosphorous deficiency, probably from a buildup of something in the root zone

Just a quick update on the grow, and if you guys have any advice I’m all ears. I flushed really well the other day was getting some buildup in the media I believe. Leaf tips started to burn and the serrated edges of the leaves are pointing up. I bought that little cheap dehumidifier but it didn’t do anything, so I went and bought a 50 pint and it rocks, but it raises the temp at night. I’ve gotten the humidity at night down to 49-56, that’s where it fluctuates. Temps are at ready around 77. Right now I’m feeding 3ml/micro and 9ml bloom. One thing is for sure I’ve learned a lot from this first grow and I supposed my second will be better, but so far I’m pretty happy.

Just a quick update. Still having some yellowing around new growth, and still some twisting of the new leaves, and one plants leaves are like multicolored, I’ve been told it’s probably genetics. But overall I think they’re looking better, healthier.

They are 2 weeks into 12/12 and I’m seeing plenty of pistil formation! Still feeding the 6ml/g micro, 9ml/g bloom, and 5ml/g calimagic.

Anything you guys recommend?

Are you adjusting PH of your nutrients / balancing tap water ? Looks like ph issues to me

Yeah, I have an RO system and I ph to 5.8-6.0 after adding nutes. I think I just messed up on the nutes a few times

I started off on a nute schedule and underfed early in veg, switched to the head formula for these nutes and they appeared to explode, but then I had salt buildup and RH issues earlier in flower, but if I can hobble across the finish line, I’ll be satisfied with something at all to smoke lol. Thanks for everyone’s help here and hopefully I can share my screw ups with new growers in the future here on the farm

Well considering its your first grow id say you walked away pretty good ! just minor issues to be dialled in !
