Hell yeah it’s a community garden. Everyone’s input has contributed. Now the 2nd grow...that’s where I’ll get creative a little bitHahaha. I’m confused if this is a thcfarmer community garden
Take a chance, and make some decisions for yourself, green eggs and ham.
im looking into this, any recommendations? You should get a leaf temp gun and find the happy place. It's cool to experiment with different lights, temps and rh to see how they affect leaf temps.
Def not brighter than moonlight. I thought it depends on the wavelength though.Light leak shouldn’t be huge as long as it’s not brighter than moon light ?
Hey sorry for posting on your post but just started a new post on my profile before I seen this one but my question is do certain strains have the leaves drooping like that because one of my plants does that but the other is greatHey all,
The first 4 weeks of this grow was with the SE3000 and I just swapped it out for the SE5000 (thanks @SpiderFarmerLED !)
Recap: I’m on my first grow and still learning the ropes. You guys have been awesome in helping, this forum is great! I‘m 4 weeks in and thinking of flipping to flower by Friday (today is Monday).
Heres my gear:
Space: 3x3 tent
Light: Spider-Farmer Upgraded SE5000 Full spec LED w UV & IR
Medium: 70/30% Coco/Perlite
Nutrients: Mantis Buffered Nutrients
Seeds: 3 Pineapple Upside Down Cakes & 1 Lemongrass from Humboldt Seed Co., 1 Sour Power from BagSeed!!
Containers: 4 Three Gallon Smart Pots, plus 1 One gallon generic fabric pot (for the little PUDC runt)
Method: Minimal defoliation, one plant LST, the rest free to boogie.
Feel free to join me on this adventure of creating a miniature tropical jungle in my basement. Here’s some pics.

Hey no problem at all! They droop a little after a good watering and also right before lights out. It’s like the plant learns the light cycle and transfers energy in anticipation of the lights turning out...not sure the exact process but it’s normal. The plant that’s drooping...if more than just those two instances, I would assume the strain thrives in a different environment maybe hotter, colder, more humid, etc. But I imagine it can be many other things as well.Hey sorry for posting on your post but just started a new post on my profile before I seen this one but my question is do certain strains have the leaves drooping like that because one of my plants does that but the other is great
Yes probably so, certain wavelengths trigger hormones as well afaikDef not brighter than moonlight. I thought it depends on the wavelength though.
Surprised a company hasn’t released a light with a moon cycle on it...I wonder if it would have some sort of effect.Yes probably so, certain wavelengths trigger hormones as well afaik
love itPutting this one through the ringer, shaped like a sideways question mark. ?

Nothing. Only one plant got 2 foliar sprays of 1tsp/gallon epsom salt but not sure if it really did anything. There are issues with a couple older fan leaves on each plant...hoping it doesn’t get worse and just going to ride it out and see what happens. Had to turn the light down to 40% because tips were burning. 28”-33” height tips were turning white. So, either the light is more powerful than I thought, or my temps need to be above 80, not hovering 74-78F. But yeah, just Mantis so far. We shall see how it plays out. Just flipped to flower 3 days ago. Fingers crossed that flowering goes well!Have you added anything but Mantis yet ?
I don't think its burning from light. It should be getting a lot more. Spider farmer says 100% @ 12-18". I doubt you can make good buds @ 33" even on 100%Nothing.
