first grow room need help with plants

hi so i am doing my first grow i am doing soil i have 4 1000 watt lights and ac unit and every thing that i need but my ? is how many plants should i do i am doing northern lights my room is 16x14 and what size pots should i use how much space should i give each plant please and thank u

It depends how you have your lights arranged and how high you plan on having them. Think of the footprint the lights will put out. The attached image may give you some ideas.

For container size they say for every 1 month of plant life you want 1 gallon of container. So if the expected plant life is 3 months you want a 3 gallon pot.
