First indoor grow wedding cake.

Hello, new here, just learning how to grow.. I've been researching and reading up on all the ways to grow for a couple years now. It's finally legal to grow in this state..

I am using coast of Maine dirt, and the fertilizers that goes with it.. or are recommended...

5 gallon grow bags..

Mars hydro ts1000 light..

Started the grow around Dec 7th 2023..

Growing, wedding cake and birthday cake strain...

I'm in the 5th week of flower now, around 670ppfd, looking good to me, but i don't know... the birthday cake isn't as nice looking as the wedding cake, but hopefully it will catch up....

Been trying to keep the canopy trimmed down, but I'm not doing enough or something, it's getting full in the tent... lol

If my first grow taught me anything. Start with less then add if needed. I think you nailed that! Keep doing what your doing.

I happened to get the light in the picture, and i noticed the red LEDs were only on half way across the light..
Is that why the plant on that side isn't as nice as the other one...? Both are in 5th week of flower..
I'm new to growing and don't know much about the red light effects, but it sure looks like it makes a difference...

I have 1 branch that seems like the tricones are growing on the bottom of the leaves and the edges are packed with them..
Is this something that just happens, or does stress cause it to happen..?
It's just one lower branch..
They look healthy, just different...
It's in mid 7th week flower.

Ok, that's interesting, thanks. Would it be not enough flowering nutrients...? just guessing, without looking into it first.. lol
The recommended dosage was a quarter cup at weeks 1 and 3 and 5..
I did half dose 1 and 3 weeks and full dose on week 5..
That would be my guess, not enough flowering nutrients.....?

Ok, yah that's all i have used for flowering.. thanks for letting me know...
I was going by the recommended doses for the size pots.. 5gal..
Is it to late to give it something, it's getting close to week 8.
Or should i just do things differently next grow...?

I checked the fertilizer for the veg cycle, it looks like it has a little bit of potassium and magnesium in it.. but it has the nitrogen in it to, not sure if that's ok for flowering..
Maybe I should've been using both for flower..?
Not sure....
