that's for hps. I imagine the mh should be a lil closer then what this says but it's a good chart.Bro that kix ass I'm at 18" and felt like they could scooch down some. I'm going to the tent now.
That chart is from the element to any point of the plant at that distance. Like tying a string from the bulb to the plant.I will see what 14" does, I dont want to over do it. Now that chart must be in ref. per light. and not overall room. @Midwestjay
Just keep the temps cool.Oh snap, maybe I should go down to the 10". The hoods are cooled and vented. I have fresh filtered air coming in blowing right above the ladies.
Yea it makes all the difference. I've seen 30° f drops after going to cool tubes and exhausting out the areaI was surprised to see how much the ducting impacts the heat. I was kind of worried my tent wasnt going to be warm enough during veg. I have major ac vent by my intake fan and filter. I moved it further away from the vent because it was just too cold to be blowing in.
I moved them down to approximately 10" I will keep a close eye on them. Here's a good chart for hps and lumen. View attachment 584326
So that is very high ppm. and ph starting point. Any input? I will be filling my rez with about 35 gallons. @Midwestjay @Irie Farmer @Grow4me @ArcticOrange @Og GongSo my mixing chart for vegetative stage state the following: once your plants have established root systems, they are ready for vegetative growth on an 18 hour light cycle. Changing your reservoir once weekly, apply the following vegetative formula each week consistently throughout the vegetative cycle until plants reach desired height. Mix the following nutrients for every one gallon of water to create vegetative formula. BC BOOST-3tsp BC BLOOM- 3tsp AWESOME BLOSSOMS-1/2tsp THRIVE ALIVE B-1 RED-1/2tsp MAGICAL-1/2tsp SUGAR DADDY-2 1/2tsp ALWAYS ADD BOOST FIRST. PH SHOULD BE AT 5.8-6.2 and PPM 1100.....anyways thats this recipe for success from technaflora
Write that's a crazy amount of stuff to add. Honestly I'd stick to the base nutes to start. So my mixing chart for vegetative stage state the following: once your plants have established root systems, they are ready for vegetative growth on an 18 hour light cycle. Not sure what ppm that is but I start with at least half what the manufacture recommends. Some times a 4th. And Idk if you run higher ppm in ebb over dwc or not.So that is very high ppm. and ph starting point. Any input? Well I usually start about 100-200ppm range. I always start super low. And just raise at every change long as she's happy. Long as the ppm is dropping I'm jumping it up around 50ppm per change/week.I believe it's essentially the same. I will try to measure out 300-400ppm is my goal for beginning vegetative. @Midwestjay
Just took these, they are definitely standing up.Well I usually start about 100-200ppm range. I always start super low. And just raise at every change long as she's happy. Long as the ppm is dropping I'm jumping it up around 50ppm per change/week.
Like this Og auto. She started at 125ppm. And she's 5 weeks Friday. She's at 500ppm and loving it. I could prob be higher but she's happy af and its always better to be on the lower side then the high side.
Just watch the plants. If they ain't reaching for the light, like literally leaves pointed strait out and some at the light. If they are like that they are happy as hell. As soon as you see them drop/droop then you know that something is off. Usually over feeding, but heat and ph are the other two main reasons.
Exactly brother. Those look perfect. Great color and reaching for the stars lol. That's what you wanna see the whole time. If they droop something is off.Just took these, they are definitely standing up.View attachment 584333 View attachment 584334 View attachment 584335 View attachment 584336 View attachment 584337
