I'm going to get a different strain I'm not going to mess with these ladies again. I was going to but I am going to get a few others to mess with.that sux...I thought they were fem seeds....hey bro...a little secret....you should take a clipping of one of each of the females...and throw it in a dome with a little cfl in a shop lamp...and root...and keep as mom's
I think one is maybe male :/
They're supposed to be but long story short I think may have gotten mixed (wife).
This is true, I think the male show first too.Are you sure it's male. If the nuts ain't developed and opened up your good.
Well crap everyone, it was a boy. I pulled it out. It had good roots that had grown through the buckets bottoms. I lost a good deal of them pulling the bucket and not trying to let any of my others get messed up.View attachment 599435
As far as this cap system though I can't complain. It's doing its job perfectly. So if I reviewed the system I would say it's easy to use and it performs and delivers so far most set backs are rookie mistakes. I will be using this as a mother system however and get a flood and drain tray. I will keep the same concept as this just with a tray table and flood and drain it 4 or 5 times a day. I found a tray that is the size for this tent too. I should be able to have easier quality control this way. It took a minute to get that male out of there after all the training. I will not be repeating this process. I could have avoided it and sexed the plants. I didn't shame on me. Now I've spent weeks wasted nutes energy water and ached myself doing all that work for nothing. So I have learned a very valuable lesson from all of this. I will need to be doing some seed shopping before too long. Anyone have good seed sources they recommend?
just insurance....cuz they might turn out to be....AMAZING SMOKE....I clone every seed I germ....
Well this is what the roots looked like on the male plant.View attachment 599448 View attachment 599449 View attachment 599450 View attachment 599451 View attachment 599452 View attachment 599453
It is hydroten bromigo.Wow I think there is more roots than hydroten. This is relevant to my interests
When I germ a seed....I grow it to 6 nodes and cut it down to 3.....and clone the top.....I now have a clone of said seed....while it is cloning...the host plant is about ready to show sex.....If it is a fem...I keep the clone........then I grow out the host and flower her...keeping the clone....when she shows her true self....I know whether to keep her around or put her out to pastureOk so I've heard of this. That cloning a strain (grown from seed) a few times before tossing it aside because it might not become pronounced for awhile. Anymore info on this subject would be cool
Good res temps and proper nutrients/diet dialed in and balance balance balance. Constantly check pH and ppm and if my ppm kept rising I kept topping it off with fresh ro to bring ppm back down to the orig ppm that I had mixed in the res at the beginning of the week. I had first used root 66 by technaflora in their recipe for success. I had ran out and my local shop didn't have a decent size bottle so I got the Dr.kangaroots. I aerate the res with two disc shaped air stones that are bonded to the bottom of the res. I spend a lot of time monitoring the ladies and making sure everything is correct. Temps, humidity, c02ppm, res ppm, pH, res temps, light height. It is hydroten bromigo.

no I just flower the seed....and if the flowers turn out good and I want to keep her around then I have a mom in the waiting.....if it isnt really any good I will give the mom away or just throw her outside and run experiments on her...
having said that.....I almost always do the first run outdoors....it gives me a clear picture of what a plants can do no holds barred....then I know what to look for in the "Love Box"....and how hard I can push her
