First time grow here doing autoflowers I’ve flushed twice over the past 2-3 weeks and stopped giving nutrients it’s about week 5 and im eager to harvest but not sure if I should keep waiting for these milky pistils to fade or turn amber

It’s gorilla zkittles by fastbudz apparently it should be done around now
Yea well it would of been much bigger bud wise had you not stopped the bloom nutes or feedings you were given it. Plain water is OK for the final week but the best flavor comes in the last few weeks of maturity. Next time don't stop so early.

I have a Hyperion F1 autoflower by royal queen seeds which is about week 3 of flower so will definitely do this with that and see the difference, I honestly wasn’t expecting a harvest and thought it would all get moldy because of the conditions but apparently not

The gorrilla zkittles plant was stunted from growth though and had leaves showing purple before veg even started so pretty happy with how it’s turned out

Don't go by breeder estimates, the plant will be done when it's done. Your pics don't show the trichs close enough to tell if they're clear, milky or amber. IMHO, you've got a couple weeks to go.
Thanks

Flush the toilet not your plants. Flushing is for lockout and say a hydro grow where you misread the ec and now stuff is burning up. If you are doing this for taste blind taste test prove no difference that a well done grow either salt chemical or organic no preference.
I run straight organic with FF soils and top dress with EWC, soil conditioner and then fish poop flower nutes. No flushing feed your plants what they need.
Good result for what you got.
Also my last auto came out great with a breeder estimate at 85 days and an actual grow of 104.

Why does everyone say you should flush then
Because that's what people did. Herd mentality is a thing.
The problem we get is when some of our older more learnerd growers dig in and declare you have to flush and then you direct them to a website with double blind taste tests and chemical and tissue samples to show no difference. At that point the person is giving out wrong information if they will not change their minds.

Jim’s shootin straight. Cure is the big deal with taste. You can clean up the profile on flower that isn’t smelling it’s best just with a good dry/cure process.
Just don’t dry out your buds too much before you go to cure. You need that wee bit of moisture to help the process of breaking down those compounds and chlorophyll.

I know tons of people don’t but I will also use the 60% humidity packs in my jars during cure. They work both directions for humidity. Meaning keeps the humidity down some of you got some damp flower or adds it when you burp too long cause you left the lid off too long.

Your buds look good but as others stated probably not quite ready. I think they could ripen more.
Breeders have “perfect” conditions and you can potentially get that number of days. Experience tells me that they can take much longer in the real world.

If you’re curious how the trichomes are ripening just take a photo close to the flower with your phone. Then zoom in. Does a pretty good job telling. At least for me

I’ve got 1 more auto a little younger than this one so I guess I’ll see if there’s a difference but won’t be very accurate as it’s different strain/genetics/breeder whatsoever, just wanted to experiment as this is my first time

Thanks I’ve bought some boveda packs in preporation for curing I know I could harvest now but im trying to get it the best I can

Yeah, and at the end of your grow it doesn't matter a whole lot if its locked out. The only thing you are doing the last couple weeks is letting the trichomes mature.
