They look fine. I'd move that light a lot closer, though. 32W isn't very much light and your plants are stretching a bit because of that.

Ok thanks for the fast response. I just put them on that light 2 days ago. I had I different light and had them by the window. That's why they stretched so much. Well at least from what I read. How much closer you think I should get? Those pics I added was 3 days ago.

They look fine to me too, just a little stretched, but that won't matter. You can help them fill out by gently blowing on them once a day. The stems will automatically begin to thicken, making a sturdy plant, to cope with the conditions. Is the light hot? If so, be careful how close you set it. I'd lower it gradually.

I use 2 x daylight full spectrum 45w 5500k CFL bulbs, in my grow tote (a tote tub with a pc fan on the side to pull air through), and they don't burn unless touching. Good luck.

Happy growing!

The plants will thicken naturally, if you're a bit nervous about rocking them.

Thanks just got back from Walmart. Going to make a cardboard box with foil paper on the walls. Gonna make a lil door that can open so I can get to them. The light is hot but only when your hand is close it the light. Where the plants are I dont feel warmth if that makes and sense. Imma add a small light inside so the get air and rig a PC fan or to to vent out the air. Would live to see a pic of your set up. Also tha is for the response and info.

Here is a little set up I have had going on for some time now since I took a clone from my BC big bud plant before flowering my last run.
The clone was taken some time last June and has been slowly growing while growing out of a over feed problem since taken from mother.
The week of light deprivation where I managed to forget to turn them back on surly hindered them etc etc.
The smaller plant is a Purple Chitral, which came in my purchase from the cannabis store.
I wasn't sure it would grow but it did.

It wasn't even a great looking seed, but here it is in ffof.

This is the sprout on August 19.

And today under two 42w @ 6500k.
SLOW but steady as I am in no rush at all. The Purple Chitral stretched so much I thought it was going to fall over and die so I propped it up against the other plant at the time and it came around on its own with a slight breeze from a ceiling fan as well, I didn't even bother to raise it towards the light.

I will leave them both like this for about another month or so, re-pot and then I will add more light to pick up the pace and give them what they really need to blow up before changing light cycle.
I also just finished pulling off a bunch of vegetation and pinching tops. I'll get something out of these eventually but this is the fun stuff.

You will need much more light for those to get them through their life cycle. What are your plans as far as light goes as well as what will be your growing environment and what are you hoping to get from your crop?

I have no real plan for light I'm open to all suggestions. They will be in the box till I transplant them and build my grow tent using PVC pipe that I will be building. As for as what I hope to get from my crop anything would be great. This is more of a test run to see how the plant changes and to learn from any mistakes I might make along the road. Of course I'd love to grow some fat buds my first go around but I keep it real they may die lol hope not.

No problem pal. We all learn something every grow. Just enjoy the process, and you could make notes in say a calander for jobs like Watering, transplanting, flipping, etc. I'd be lost without the references, and they keep you on schedule.

I've made loads of mistakes, but that's what makes it a challenge. The next grow will always be the best. That's what I tell myself.

Happy growing.

These can be built for about $200. COB LED strips (not the sticky back rubbish). It's probably worth a look.

Samsung LED Double Striplight DIY Build I've just completed a very respectable 200w LED system for my 2x3' grow for about £150 (I'm from the UK so that's about (about $190 USD), using high quality Samsung led double striplights. Fixed to aluminium framing, I used aluminium channel to act as a...

I agree with most posts move the light closer use the hand method back to your hand hold your hand over the plant and then feel the back of your hand if the light is too hot then it's too close it's look worm it's perfect I would definitely put it about 4 in from your plants also I'd put a low speed fan to strengthen up them long stems.. Happy growing I'm using a 600 w HPS and it's 16 in from my plant this is my new purple urkel lady
