yeah I see this with my squash an pumpkins every year, figured it's a gourd thing. I'm no science guy. I just always thought since them type alway havin so much water in them they get funny an rot off from havin to much. water. Lol I've never been to bright I guess. So u jus cut it off huh? Is there a way to prevent.

yep milk works also....good thread...I've never stopped it...but I use a milk/water spray followed by a spray of Physan 20 and I see a measure of control going on. Not sure if it will spread to other plants..... but it's always something that happens with (most of) the squashes....
