flowered plants back under 20-4 light. re veg?

we trimmed on august 7th and I left a few puny buds on (see pics).

threw them back in the tent with the new girls under 20-4 and I even feed them the week 2 nutrient schedule.

whats going to happen? I read they will grow super weird leaves for a bit, then normal, and will re veg?
