Flowering Already????

She looks overwatered or like you're having a pH issue but you're nearing the finish line! Getting a little foxtailing going on too, what is your temp and humidity? For both lights on and lights off. Drastic swings can influence foxtailing.

I had foxtailing this last run, so it may be a result of the CFL's as well, will know if this is a factor after this next run I'm starting. But I also had a hell of a lot of instability so I'm pretty sure that's what triggered my issues.

As she nears end of flower she'll drink less so the waterings can be tapered down. pH is on point though and temp looks good. RH is a bit high but shouldn't be a terrible issue. Just watch for bud rot this late in flower. Around 50% would be more optimal.

She's finishing up though, I think two weeks would be about right for being ready.

Kind of. There's a lot that comes into the maturation of the various cannibanoids. The main reason you cut back on the watering is you're aiming to mimic the fall season. Typically, things dry out during the fall season and die off. The goal is force the plant to start completing it's reproductive processes and one way to trigger this to let it dry out a bit more between waterings. This is why in soilless grows people will flush then let things dry out during the final days. The decrease in nutrient levels and moisture triggers a natural response in the plant, effectively forcing ripening.

However in all mediums you will see a decrease in liquid uptake as the plant nears the end. This is why in soil you start decreasing your waterings. She's beyond the major growth moments and she's just fattening up at this point so definitely be cutting back on the waterings. If she were a photo plant I would say she's probably around week six or seven of flower so she's definitely not going to be drinking as much.

On that note though, you should make it a habit to only water when the pot is light. Hell, you can even wait until the fan leaves droop a bit in soil. It's easier to recover from under watering than over watering ime. Pick up the pot 15 minutes after you've watered then pick it up every day after that and feel the difference.

You will see an increase in trichome production as well these final weeks. Everything will just increasingly look better and better. She'll fatten up a lot and really come through solid. I saw you stopped in Seamaiden's thread, just keep those details in mind and you'll be pleased come smoke time.

Yea, seamaidens been a great help as you have been. I hope she fattens up some more. They say this plant was to finish up in 60-65 days. I guess its all in the way you grow. She's been going over 10 weeks now. YES!!!! I'm getting really excited for only my second plant that I have grown. You seem to break things down better for me to grasp as with seamaiden. I tend to go for closer to 80 days flower time under CFL's as a baseline simply because of this factor. Some genetics come through sooner but most take longer.

So 77 days ago, would mean approximately 3 weeks of "veg" stage I would assume so subtract 21 days from the 77 gives you 56 days flower. That would be my guess. Take it out to 70 days flower and you should be thoroughly satisfied.

So, you think about 14 days, this is killing me, lolol, but I said I was gonna take her to the end. You'll have to give me some tips on drying. lol, I did try a small nug a few days ago and it was very good. Sweetness!!!!

Drying and curing is an art in itself. I dry in a dark area at around 70 degrees and 60% RH. Cut off all the fan leaves and hang the branches upside down. Leave for 5 to 7 days, until the stems snaps but doesn't break clean. Shuck the main stems and trim the remaining leaves. Load the buds into jars and burp daily for the first couple weeks. Goal is to dry cool and slow. Might look into freezer curing as well. It takes a bit longer to smokeable product but it's supposed to be just as good if not better than a standard dry and cure.

She'll continue spitting pistols until she's ready for harvest pretty much. This is why you want to wait longer. Once the pistols stop showing up and she looks tired you'll know she's ready. If you can, getting your hand on a jewelers loupe could assist as well though trichomes aren't the most reliable means of verifying maturation. They're simply an additional indicator in some strains.

I had a bc hash plant autoflower and was told try not to stress her out . It got root bound and never came out of it . It stopped growing and eventually did dieRIP lil'hashy. Hope she came back

She is real purple. Almost black.
