I just switched over my plant to a 12-12 light cycle last week and am expecting it to start flowering either this coming week or the next.

In the past I’ve always just used the general hydroponics flora trio all the way through. During my last grow I added a little bit of Flower Fuel.

Any suggestion on other supplements I could use during flowering to increase trichomes and terpene production?

Floralicious plus.

edit: i'll be honest I re-ran a clone and floralicious plus didn't bring anything out that it didn't have before. I believe if you want more terpenes people go the organic route. I ran GH trio and coco for the first 20 plants and have recently switched to organic so i'll keep you informed.

I use GH 3 part + floralicious & monster Bloom or Kool Bloom for 3-4 weeks mid flower starting around week 3 but most of my stuff goes 10 weeks They say 8 but I've not seen any ready any 8 weeks

That is not a bad liquid nutrient line. If I am not mistaken they have you changing up the portions of the 3 part from veg to flower . I have found soil will give you a better terp profile than hydro. Use the flower fuel in small doses week 4-6. I use a home made version of hammer head for these weeks.
To be honest there is not much in the nutrients that make an incredible difference in smells.
Maybe a little change here and there but you are not going to take a cultivar that smells ok in past grows and make it great the next grow with a nutrient change unless it was deficient in the previous grow.
I did do a test earlier this year. I gave clones to a person to grow out in fox farms ocean forest with botanicare pro blend and the terp profile was completely different. It was a smell I had smelled many times before because another friend used botanicare. I have also noticed this with Athena. Some nutrient lines will bring out specific terp profiles but again there is no magic bullet.
You can get a better product by focusing on the whole grow than nutrients. Temps, RH, light, etc

What does the Molasses do
From what I understand, it provides your plant with essential nutrients and sugars to allow it to use up all of the minerals and microbes in the soil, thus intern producing a sweeter more tricomb filled product, now take what I am saying very lightly as I am offering an opinion based on research and one grow

I use 1 tablespoon of agave nectar, and 1 tablespoon of molasses in a worm tea that I brew for 24 hours and water in between plane waterings check it out on google , hope this helps bruh ,
Happyreefing 🤙🏼

Ok so I want to clear up some bro science stuff because I did was under the Same impression at one time.
#1 when you are brewing a tea yes you should be adding in sugars. Molasses or agave. Both are carbohydrates that are needed to feed the microbes that are growing in the tea. That is all the sugars do. Once the microbes have been watered into the soil the sugars are not used ideally. This is when you want the microbes to form a sim bionic relationship with your plant. Once this has occurred the microbes are getting their food from the plant. The plants asks the microbes to go find what ever nutrients it is looking for and in return tge plant feeds the microbes carbohydrates.
Cannabis plants cannot uptake sugars

What he said I don’t have the words , thanks man I wasn’t necessarily trying bro science I was just trying to put in my own words the best way I understood what I read an article so thank you for using some clarification and scientific knowledge I appreciate it but I do not consider myself a bro scientist I apply knowledge and research I just may not know how to put it in the correct Termanology is all thanks brother

I looked up the nutrient values of molasses and there are 9 The plant can take up. Those are already in the Flora line up. If you add sulfur than can help some weed th terps but again no game changer

Very nice work , fast and efficient 🤙🏼💪🏼

You are not the bro science. It is the ones that are on You Tube or whatever platform trying to push the stuff. It is just like nearly everything in the cannabis industry. A large percentage is not settled science. It is people pushing their agenda.

Also there is a Fing ton of K in Molasses. You have to really be careful with Shit like this. You can lock out other nutrients by providing too much of one nutrient. There is a chart called Molars Chart that will show you what nutrients are antagonist with other nutrients. It gets complicated hence sticking to a proven line up of good quality nutrients and not adding all kinds of different brands of products is a good idea.
Probably the biggest offender of Bro Science in the nutrient world is advanced IMO. Those fing people have an insane number of add ons to their line. The worst part of Advanced is they know exactly what they are doing. They purposely leave nutrient levels of say Calcium or N low and put the remainder in an add on bottle so you have to buy the add on to grow nice cannabis

Same. I usually harvest around 10-11 weeks.

Thanks for all the info!

By the way I forgot to mention. My medium is Fox Farms Ocean Forest in a 7 gallon fabric pot.
