I'm not familiar with sm90 but that all sounds good minus the brown and stink. I really like hydroguard. It keeps nice white roots. What size air pump are you running? So I have two air stones. My tea temp is at 69, I clean it once a week I run RO with cal mag, GHNova, and ppm are low like 300. This week a I substituted SM-90 for my h202 to see if it worked better(claims made by my hydro store, of course) and my roots browned and slight stink.
One no? And bites?45 liters per min. I'll usually put 1 no per gal every 2 or 3 days. I'm starting to think could be because of my bites. Of just because I'm not in RDWC and everyone else is and has the h20 movement
I don't run h2o2. I've tried in the past and never had great results. The best way to keep roots fresh is to keep res temps low. Next best thing I've found is hydroguard. But you can't run h2o2 and hg at the same time. h2o2 will kill the h2o2. But long as I stay around 70° res Temp I don't have problems. Do you have slime? And bubbles, idk if u started with a kit that comes with a lil aquarium pump, but I run a 900+ gph air pump. EBay has them for around $30
My advice would be lower level to bottom of net. And add hydro guard. Maybe some one else knows better
Hell yea brother that's what we like to see. Keep us updated.I think u set me straight, I lower my h20 level, increase to a real veg light and added two more air stones. The Root growth double over night and is whiter than my Mothers-sisters-husband.
Have a look
