That would make a wicked bar sign with all the neon colours lighting up!!

Just doing some image dickery for fun, gradient mapping and warps and color shifts and shit. Kind of the digital version of how they used to make gel projection graphics, at least in concept.
With today's printing and LEDs though yeah it could, just like some of the old Coors signs.

This is closer to unedited although still... edited a lot lol.

I see the website hiuccup is over.
Clones in dirt yesterday with 2" roots, so we'll see if they make it! Looks good though, and the girls in flower are getting along nicely, no sneaky-sneaky trying to leaf over sister plants lol.

I had to drop the side businesses, unfortunately comp doesn't count that as "work search" for my 5% ability to work lol. So I apply to jobs that will never hire me I guess, which is fine because I have no interest after all this. So I guess all my ferment experiments are personal research now... just in time for my 5 1m+ Scoville pepper packs to arrive lol. No matter, I can certainly use them myself.

Sorry to hear that man!! Have you ever watched Wolverine....?? Well one them offers some experimental skeletal procedure, maybe thats something you could have done. Tell comp to keep their peanuts and take over the hot sauce market man 😉

If something comes along paying 50k a year maybe... but for the interim that's the gig.
I'm not one for comics for the most part.
I do have music in the mean time and I re-installed Rust, so there goes my waking hours lol.

This is just some short theme stuff, I'm still waiting on the guitar pickup to MIDI box to actually fully dive in.

Got a little 4+ inch custom knife done at a "winter fair" event. $100 but you get to pick the steels and inform the making of. nearly 1/4" thick on the spine, and sharp enough to take clean cuttings. More importantly comes sharp, free sharpening at the shop, and since it's tool steel sandwiched in spring steel, It takes and holds an edge well.

Clone bucket cleared, kinda out of room but hey, there are worse problems. Another round of vivosun fabric bags though, gotta stock up for maybe 1-2 outdoor this spring.
Serious rooting difference in two batches at day 10, like 2" of root difference. So 68-70f room temp is significantly different than 6-7 degrees warmer in the tents.

Thats been my biggest hurdle for cloning. I have a great flowering and vegging environments. I need to get a cloning tent or something like it to be able to use in the flower room for the climate but keep lighting on 24/0. It’s just more room tinkering! lol!

Glad you got an improvement on your setup! I know that feeling, its a good one : )

Those half tall tents are okay, I think Mikedin has one. If I move to a dedicated clone enclosure maybe but I won't have to do it all the time. Plus no cloning clones either.

Fuck me... I got all these freeloadin bitches! 2 are going to get rehomed; I over-cloed in my adoration of the new found ability.
Maybe I can like gift clones to dying cancer patients who neither have time to raise them nor can reach them.
I kid, but there is actually a donation thing at the cannabis social club I can ask about. Big sis in the back might be in suspended veg longer than she likes but she stays with this class.

AI's take on using it:
"

What basalt rock dust actually does

Basalt is pulverized volcanic rock. When you add it to cannabis soil, you’re not “feeding” the plant directly—you’re remineralizing the soil and feeding the soil life, which then feeds the plant. That’s how nature’s always done it.

Key benefits:

  • Broad-spectrum minerals
Basalt contains calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, silica, and trace elements most bagged soils are missing. Not in huge spikes—slow, steady release.
  • Silica for strength
Big one. Silica thickens cell walls. Result:
    • Stronger stems
    • Better drought tolerance
    • Improved pest and stress resistance
      Not magic armor, but noticeable.
  • Microbe fuel
Fungi and bacteria love mineral surfaces. Basalt gives them something to chew on, especially when paired with:
    • Compost
    • Worm castings
    • Mycorrhizae
This is how you build a living soil that doesn’t collapse halfway through flower.
  • pH buffering (mild)
Basalt is usually close to neutral. It won’t jack your pH like lime, but it helps keep things from swinging wildly.

What it does not do

Let’s kill the hype:

  • ❌ It is not fast
  • ❌ It will not fix deficiencies overnight
  • ❌ It will not replace nitrogen, phosphorus, or potassium

Basalt is a long game input. Think season-to-season improvement, not rescue medicine.

How much to use (imperial, because we’re civilized)

For cannabis soil mixes:

  • ½ to 1 cup per cubic foot of soil
(That’s about 7.5 gallons of soil)

Or for pots:

  • ¼ cup per 5-gallon pot mixed thoroughly

For no-till beds:

  • Top-dress ½ cup per 10 sq ft, lightly scratch in, water well

Don’t overdo it. More is not better—this isn’t protein powder.

Best way to use it

Basalt shines when paired with:

  • Compost or worm castings
  • Mycorrhizal inoculants
  • Regular watering cycles (moisture drives mineral exchange)

If you’re running salt-based bottled nutrients?
Basalt still helps structure and microbes, but you won’t see its full potential. Living soil lets it flex.

Bottom line

Basalt rock dust is:

  • Slow
  • Quiet
  • Foundational

It won’t wow you in week 2, but by late flower your plants will stand harder, stress less, and finish cleaner. Like good infrastructure—boring until it’s missing."

Now silicates... eh. I guess. I think it does best in helping out the micro world and anti-salt moderating. All the rest I guess SOUNDS right but you look into it and see if you agree with the bot.

Pardon my rabbit hole chasing but after some reading I would like to note that Fiji Water has great mineral content for watering cannabis but it's way fucking too expensive. And yeah it's tits for silicates, but so is vermiculite at something like 1 tbsp per gallon.
So I guess confession time: I add a handful of vermiculite to a big ass bag of soil (20-30 gallon?) whatever the promix microrhyzzial I got is the same size as all the bags I've bought; "about a flour sack over the shoulder".

Sorry, precise measures are not common in this land.
