Sad day. I cut her just below the first dying branch yesterday and today the lower branches are still looking good. The branches were hollow?

I believe that they normally are hollow I chase bud worms in branches by squeezing them hard up and down with my thumb and index finger and they pop like a paper straw

The smoke has slowed things a bit but it is supposed to rain overnight.
Friends have told me Alaska Morbloom is hard to get. Luckily I have a decent stock of Fox Farm Big Bloom and I grabbed a container of the Cultivation Nation Flower.

Well we had that rain and we have some branches bent over from the weight of the rain. Next year I will install netting higher than 8’ but for this year we are probably going to lose some branches if we have much more rain. Understand that we will have more than we need so we will not be trying to put up more supports. I took some photos of the drooping branches and Pinkleberry Kush, as we did NOT harvest at the equinox. Maybe in a week or two.

We are old and we are not that energetic. We have some bent over buds that may break but that will provide some smoke after last years disasters. The weather looks good in the forecast for the next couple weeks. The buds are getting fat and I am feeding their last supper tomorrow night. I will use the FF Sledge Hammer in a few days and flush with water the rest of the time through harvest.

I hear ya bro I’m breaking down too I’ve got a lot of mileage on this 1958 ruff miles! Wind broke some branches off my Cowboy Kush a week ago and more yesterday they are brittle and very dry weird. We smoked some yesterday and it’s very goood even without a flush burns and tastes great we have 5 days of rain in the forecast hope things don’t get moldy on me take care!

We lost another two branches today. It’s so close but may not make it. The photo above is Grape Ape.

I flushed with a heavy dose of Fox Farm's Sledge Hammer tonight. I will only give them water from now on. MAC 3, Pinkleberry Kush and that is my new 22’ extension ladder about 10’ high.

My rain gauge says 1/2” of rain today. I probably have some broken branches as my plants grew much taller than I thought they would and to support the tall ones would have required more ladder work for three 70 year old men. Our plants are far enough along that we can use any of it that breaks.
We harvested Pinkleberry Kush Thursday after finally seeing all cloudy trichs. The note on the clone tag said to harvest no later than the fall equinox which was Sept. 22.

I Sampled Pinkleberry Kush today after finding 2 tiny bud worms crawling around the first nug I broke up. I have been using Thuricide weekly for the last 3 weeks. Color me disappointed.
The bud branches have been hanging 4 days so I will cut the buds loose from the branches and store them in a tub overnight in the freezer to kill any worms.
With this worm issue happening we will do a partial harvest which will open space between the remaining buds and we can follow with another dose of Thuricide.

We thinned Grape Ape, Bruce Banner, MAC 3, Carl Sagan, and Chocolate Hashberry. All s except CH were showing mostly cloudy Trichs with a few amber. CH had hanging buds that were bunched up and needed room. We also took the whole plant of the “Volunteer” after finding bud rot in one top. More rain this evening.

We found some bud rot in Bruce Banner. We harvested the rest of Grape Ape, Carl Sagan and Bruce Banner. We also took Pineapple Express, Skywalker OG, Zookies, and Purple Hindu Kush. Tomorrow we will take part of Ghost Train Haze and the rest of MAC3, saving Chocolate Hashberry and Sour Tangie for Tuesday.

Well today we harvested the rest of the garden. Not a bud worm did I see. I guess we played it safe in that we will get our first freeze in two days from now, but we only had a hand full of rotten bud. I still see other people’s gardens and some are partially taken and others are holding back. My “gleaners“ are coming to clean my garden this weekend. I made a deal that leaves me with my mostly undisturbed soil with no stumps or netting and ready to plant a cover crop for winter. My goat farmer buddy barrowed my truck and is bringing it back full of mostly composted goat shit full of red worms which we will top dress the garden with before planting the cover crop.
