Post it up, or ask.

Alright, thought I would maybe make a thread for this sort of thing, instead of doing it though PM all the time. I've thrown around this idea for some time. Post up questions; (with pics please, and relevant background/historical information) answers can be offered by anyone/everyone. Please feel free offer up a solution, if you know an answer.

Rules; Keep it civil, be respectful.
No making fun, or belittling someone's grow; ie. that will not be tolerated, and the offending comments will be removed.
Have fun, and maybe learn something.

That is all. This is the conclusion of the emergency grow broadcast system;
Some bud porn for time.

Lots of Beta caryophyllene in that one. Think African. When I've figured out how to do it myself, I'll let you know.
I think that's what they call a supercritical C02 extraction. around 89% THC

Sorta like a THC McFlurry.

Kinda shocked at all the help posts and nothing in here. Just kinda shows how many will just post issues before looking?

This is great, I wish you offered this service a little sooner so that I (ab)use the hell out of it.

Hi Frankster, pleased to make your acquaintance. Your reputation precedes you. I have hopefully a simple one, involves leaves curling down vs up. I've got 4 girls but one is stunted and about 2.5 weeks behind the others in development. They are on day 49 of 12/12. The mature girls are showing some tacoing which I've seen some growers posting as a positive in flower development and ripeness? I may need some clarification there. The delayed girl actually stretched like buggery once she did go, and was curling down as per photo. Was getting too much light. I've also been pushing hard on nutes as the more mature girls have been okay with 2.7 runoff. I'm now backing off nutes as we get closer, definitely some quite dark green leaves so happy to step that back. Moved light up and turned down so top sites are getting 30% less photons, but the same curling is on lower sites to a lesser degree. Do you think nutes and too much light are the culprit? Still confused between curling up and down I guess... Any help greatly appreciated!!

Awesome thanks mate. That was my gut so I've pulled A&B back by 1/3 each to half strength. Will see what happens next week or so

This is certainly an interesting one.

That said, I tend to agree. Too much light, (taco cupping, foxtails) and probably an N tox (tip droop, and some clawing on new growth) that looks like it's (hopefully) starting to fade some. I'll be interested in hearing what others have to say about this one.

Note how everything is basically localized in your new growth.

I think N can become troublesome, but the flipside tends to be calcium deficit, so watch close for any emerging rust spots; you'll want to put those in check right away, if it develops. (I have ideas on how to address it without N, if it happens) Going down ppm in the short term might be beneficial; Especially until that stress response is fully in check.

Thanks mate. A&B will stay at 1/2 instead of 3/4 for rest of grow I think. Light was definitely too high, I just didn't notice she was still stretching so she was getting like 1400 PPFD Back to 1050 now. Will monitor the response closely and hopefully with another 3 weeks on those buds they'll have plenty of time to knot up and frost up. Thanks for your help!

I think once you get things back under control well, you can ramp it up again, in some respect, and get a bit more weight gain out of it. I think the key here is getting it over the hump, and then moving forward. I would start nailing it with humics/fluvics going forward, if possible, along with your base nutrient blend, (trio) like you say, maybe some trace (1/4 tsp per gallon) of sugars to feed the biome layer some. I use mostly barley malt right now, seems to work good.

Stressing/encouraging that micro-biome with dry cycling, good airflow, and keeping nailing it with fluvic really seems to do some crazy good things during this phase, and it really helps increase stress resistance, and stretch water dynamics, IMO. Lowers overall nutrient needs. Adds bulk, increases overall complexity.
