Our Cap Junky’s are lagging behind a bit but coming along. Our weather is like Redding 20 years ago. Junior just got home from the river and immediately made a tea with Cal-Mag.
Ugh Redding is so hot for months. I see we may get some rain next thurs. here but that's a big maybe. I've only got 2 big plants left and they are really trucking on flowering. I harvested a short stocky unknown bag seed it's hanging now my house smells like green weed LOL. But plants are all looking really good and being fed every watering. Does your son ever put unsulferated molasses in his teas? I've used it for years on my plants during flower seems to help the soil during stressful heat waves.

Junior has not been using molasses since Grange Coop quit carrying it. I always used it. I always hoped it would “sweeten” the taste. I am hesitant to try to tell him anything about growing these days. He helped me try a sample of BlackBerry Moonrocks and wasn’t as impressed as I was. Rain coming by Wednesday and we are supposed to go to the lake that day. I welcome the rain but not that day.

I smelled one of the buds. What a great time of the year.

Hey frebo are you getting the rain and wind like us about 70mi north of you?
Oh yes. Wednesday it rained all day but not hard. Thursday a few showers and today intermittent showers. I tried another sample bud and it just keeps getting better. Bud are getting sparkly.

I took these photos in the rain. Finally the weather forecast is looking dryer. The plants look like they are enjoying the rain.

I just grabbed another bud tonight and have a recent joint rolled for Tuesday with Frebo on the river with Oger tomorrow. We have seen Osprey and Bald Eagles every Tuesday on the Rogue River for several weeks. I have lived in the Rogue River Valley all my life and I don’t remember seeing this many hawks. Maybe it’s that I have become an old person bird watcher. Have a great Tuesday With Frebo on your mind.

That's sounds like me frebo LOL i just got back from my daughter's place on the willamette river. I just love watching eagles and hearing the geese. I've got bird feeders in the backyard and had a red tailed hawk hanging out in my maple tree waiting for the little finches so it could dive bomb them. My sister hates the hawks she screams when they kill her song birds an doves seeing those feathers falling from the trees. LOL nature is facinating to me.

It was a great day at Oger’s. We saw a pair of Great Blue Herons then a pair of Bald Eagles hunting. His plants maybe lagging behind ours but he doesn’t get full sun.

I grabbed one of the Blackberry Moonrocks buds and found it nice and fence and sticky. Shishkaberry is smelling nicer every day.

How pretty those leaves are i love the fade on them with lower temps. Well our weather here says last day of 90f for the summer😟 bums me out. Maybe rain next week sometime and then we'll just get 70's .
Yes it's really tough to finish them off without direct sunshine. I wish him good luck, i just have one that will go till mid Oct. maybe and i can move it under cover if needed. I'll be harvesting one by or before end of Sept. Happy days and harvest.

I moved my playpen about 100 feet this year because I was losing sunlight in the fall! Sacrifice a little at the beginning of the year, but they still get their DLI, and late season direct sunlight is indispensable!☀️ looking good up north!🍻 both of you!😍

We got a little rain today. Weather Channel said 6% chance of rain.
I gave Junior a joint of BlackBerry Moonrocks while he was playing a computer game and went to the deck to burn a joint myself. I heard a lot of coughing coming from the computer room. Happy Growing

Beautiful day on the river today at Oger’s. His plants are beautiful and finishing nicely. We say 2 Blue Herons, 3 or 4 Ospreys and 1 immature Bald Eagle. Also the Salmon are spawning so there were many large fish in the river.

Big hail storm last night. One broken branch is all I saw but plants look a bit beat up.

My sister in Central Point called me asking if we got that hail, wind and rain. I said not a peep of it, never had anything. I sure was surprised to hear that coming from the south of me, usually i'm the one calling and saying it's raining and super windy at my place. Man she had potted plants flipped over and nearly picked up their green house LOL. Hope not too much damage for you.

My friend Mattie at Walkabout Brewing had a broken window. I went to the garden this morning when Junior was making a tea and watering. I asked about the BlackBerry Moonrocks and he said mostly amber trics and he took a couple of branches and they are hanging. I just tried some of it I had pinched and it is very nice.
