Hello farmers. New to this site, but have been growing herb since the 90’s and posting/journaling elsewhere. Watching the transition from bagseed under ripped-off street lights in the attic to quantum boards/bar lights in pro quality grow tents with connoisseur seeds delivered to your house has been wild to say the least (I apologize in advance for rambling and posting lots of pictures).
I am currently flowering 2 photos in a 2.5’ x 4’ cabinet that I made myself some years ago. It has made the transition with me no from HID to blurple to qbs. Currently running 2x spiderfarmer sf2000’s.
The occupants of this space are currently 2 strains grown from a collaborative breeding project that me and a few friends in a few states have been working on for years. They are strains we like to grow and smoke. These 2 strains are good and stable products of those efforts. They were produced in a dear friends garden in NV. The lady on the left is umbrella drank. Righty is a strain called sugarpants. Without further adieu, say hello girls…
They are at 27 days on short hours. Both are done stretching and setting flowers. Just watching the show now. Here was day 1 of 12-12
Sugarpants is tall AF. Stretches a solid 5x. Reeks of very hashy wedding cake. She is a cross of a local OG that is rolling around some gardens in Vegas crossed with a super frosty cut called “sour orange” that another friend picked up in the Sacramento area. One of those males was crossed with a lanky, productive and silly strong gelato. She has been selectively bred through a few generations and is pretty stable.
Here are a few shots of this plant’s flowers from prior runs. This is a mom that I am flowering after taking a butt ton on snips off of her. She is in the process of being reversed and I hope to have fem seeds of her in the new year. This plant is the cut of her that is being reversed. Best one any of us have found thus far.
Shorter lady is umbrella drank. She started with FPOG x triangle kush. After a few generations, one of those males was bred with a trop cookies. She hasn’t been stabilized through quite as many generations, but she’s pretty reliable. This cut of hers is one that I picked from the ones I have grown out. She has a really nice combination of OG earthiness with a hit of juicy fruit on the back. She is also a mom that I am flowering out to freshen up. Here are some snaps of her from a prior run.
(below are lowers)
Also just harvested this little auto glue x GSC. She did not shoot tall, but she shot thicc as hell. When I cut her, she made my entire house reek for hours.
Thanks for stopping in and checking out the garden if you made it to this point in my post. Cheers
