Sometimes it is, but most times absolutely not. I want it to last forever, but NOT by taking full 1yr breaks in between. That vexes me.

Shawn, They've actually gone through most of the books already. (what I've heard) They've accelerated some parts and left out others. Think by the end of this season they'll be almost to the end of the books as they are. I think I heard something about how the writer needs to really ramp it up.

This season and next season are both from one book. The author is currently finishing up two more books at the same time. So at least 3 more seasons. They say maybe 4. And word is two more books are not out of the question. It could go 10 seasons. Not to mention talks of a prequel. Although that wouldn't be as cool because we know roughly what went on. Unless they wanted to go waaaaay back. That might be cool.

This was, IMO, Sansa Stark's best performance to date. Never really cared for her "victim" role, but I have a new found respect for the young lady...She has certainly been paying attention to how...heh..."politics" are played, yes?

As for Oberon...Dumb shit shouldn't have been "showboating"...Stick the bastard...Stick him again, and the stick him again for good measure...Or as they say in Aliens..."Nuke'em from orbit...It's the only way to be sure." :)

The finale is going to make your head explode.

There's still plenty of material before the new books are necessary. They could easily go back and include one of the storylines they've skipped over--which I'd love to totally bring up and talk about (especially for the non book readers), but I will refrain in the off chance they decide to do that.

I'd really love to see more of the aftermath of the red wedding fleshed out, it seems like they wouldn't be able to do that after moving so far forward--but things aren't always as they seem, I'll just leave it there.
