GE 50 pint dehue

having issues with running the dehue with the hose connection. it usually runs for about 10 min. red bucket full light turns on and it shuts down. it is currently on the floor with the hose running out of my room to my sump. will i need to create a platform to elevate the unit? the hose doesn't seem to have any clogs

There is usually a sensor or float valve type of device in the reservoir...make sure it's not obstructed in any way. That is what usually triggers the "bucket full" sensor...so if it's not up, it shouldn't trigger. Double check the drain hose carefully to make sure it's not clogged or obstructed in anyway.

Read the instruction manual to make sure there isn't anything special you have to do when you setup the continuous drain hose.
