Get a $12 30x-60x magnifying scope from radio shack or online.

Count a spot with 20 trichomes. 1 amber is 5%, 2 is 10% 3 is 15%. Check a few spots on the buds themselves, not sugar leaves. You'll be surprised how nice it is to fully enjoy the effects of cannabis, without being hit in the head with a lights-out 2x4.

I medicate 24/7, I found harvesting ripe cannabis to be much more preferable over a decade ago. ;)

Yes, the proper term for 20%+ amber trichome cannabis is "overripe." correct.

Yes, all 20 of them, like I explained in my previous post.

And every part of the flower is uniform too of course so each 20 trichome "patch" that you observe in your magnifying device would be indicative of your entire tree? Or do you pick each bud off individually after carefully examining the exact ratio of clear, to cloudy, to amber trichomes?

I'll check 2-3 spots on a bud, sometimes a few other buds to make sure.

I only put one strain per reservoir, so they're *all* done when one bud is. :)
