Hopefully this helps with the perspective.
They were in 5 gallon Home Depot buckets.
There was 4!plants.
9 0zs dry.
Works out to 2 & 1/4 per plant.
They were the biggest autos I ever ran.
Some of the numbers being tossed around, yeah I’m just gonna say, cool.
Then they're not as tall as I thought they were, but still excellent looking.

this is what happens when you top an auto i really want to throw it away but cant bring myself to do it

Last auto i grew it did that to me too 🤣 joke and waste of soil and time and money for the seed, last auto seed I ever popped 🤣 they are fun to throw in the corner of a veg tent if you just have empty space though

Just my opinion, but I know some live by autos, they are great when you want to start seeds at random times for a perpetual grow but don’t have separate flower and veg spaces

I clone autos for breading. I take the two bottom branches from each plant @ three weeks. root them out then hit them with silver or pollen from one of my males to make seed. This way I get a full harvest from the seed I bought, and still get seeds so I don't have to keep buying @ such crazy price's

Today I'm taking a 2 week old Royal Haze auto and attempting a graft onto an established Chocolate Haze photo in veg. I will soon try planting a freshly cracked seedling taproot in a crevice slit in a mother. I believe fusion will be quick.

seeds do not need to be $10 each. 4oz 50ppm Colodial silver fine mist spray bottle is $17. Can get cheaper and make your own, but this is simple. Spray at preflower, youll get self pollination.

try grafting onto a freshly harvested plant or photo in veg.

Just chopped this auto clone yesterday. Canna-Cheese from Mephisto. Was going to reverse her, but real life got in the way and I didn't have time to finish the full cycle, but let her finish out anyways.

If I can graft auto shoots onto a rootstock, and have them thrive, cloning is possible. In fact to prove or disprove the extreme , I've cut tint shoots off a Royal haze auto. Root powder and soil. Hour 36. No sign of death

Google cloning autos .
Can't be done ?
Not worth it ?
I made 3 clones of my apple fritter auto . Mom gave me over an ounce .
The clones gave me about half an ounce each .
Seeds cost around 10 $ each .
I doubled my harvest because I cloned my auto as soon as branches began to form . The earlier you Clone the bigger the clones will get .
I'm growing for fun . In attractive wooden wardrobes instead of blatantly obvious grow tents.
If your growing autos give it a shot . And don't listen to the seed merchants telling you it is a waste of time .
I'm rather stoked to get an additional 1.5 ounces from a plant .
can be done, just isnt recommended with most autos. Ive seen autos finish outside at 6ft in july before back in KC that were almost 4 months old and started inside.. Give a plant like that 3 distinct root systems, would prob def outyield it solo. The thing vegged for like 60 days. And sativas tend to root as clones like bamboo lol.

not all plants clone the same either, some plants will root and go into veg in like 10 days flat, some will take 30 in the exact same conditions.

But there are many *indica* dom autos, more common then bigger ones, that grow like corndogs of bud right out the top of the pot though. Producing pistils before a month old lol. You don't want to clone those plants, i promise lol. You dont even want to loosen their root ball if you transplant em.

A haze auto? yea you can probably pull a few tricks to bump up a yield on a plant like that. But not cloning, nor transplanting is good advice to follow with autos, because it applies to them more often then not with the plants most widely available in the market. But as with every "rule" in cannabis, there will be exceptions.

correct. To be clear, its about fun, experiment with me. The current political climate in NY is go for it. The state agency is chaos, mass resignations, no application process open, and no response to cold calls "reporting" unlisenced operations 😉
I do think there's something to planting baby autos on photo rootstocks indoor and I'm testing that very very soon

Honey cream seedling, special queen or special kush mother in veg. Lets see how it goes! Test run for auto seedling/indoor photo rootstock hypothesis

Interesting!
Grafting is an art, i hope it works for you!
I remember someone else on this site tried grafting, unfortunately without succes.

This is a tree with 40 different types of fruits.

that actual tree may be a real thing, idk, but it's definitely been photshopped into that image, and not very well either. I could do better shadows blending in modern MsPaint lol. They also thought the sun worked like a single point, and made the shadows of the soil bed look like they were being cast from a lightbulb 20 feet of the ground 50 foot away lol. Not a boiling nuclear furnace thats so far away it appears to not move even as you yourself do.

Also you can't put a tree that large on a roof, it'll destroy the building with it's root system xD

I'm sorry, i guess i'm just the guy that ruins stuff.

most of the teks on grafting cannabis seem to be the diagonal cut "whip" graft method. ===/ /==== n tape... seems wildly inferior to the "scissoring" method or the small shoot scion/ large, bored out rootstock stem stuff n fit method im trying?
