I made this shelf type deal for my squash more because I didnt want to have to rip out what was under the tarp, its three different types of prickle bushes. Bonus is the squash will be away from the ground and pests and the air flow is maxed.

Sweet tooth appears to be a good week or two behind the quarter pounder but if I remember right it had a longer finish time.

Your trellis/ raised supports for your vines is amazing!!! Great idea!

Its working well so far. I only did it to avoid digging out a ton of prickle bushes but I will probably maintain the method next year! I am considering getting more of the same shelving and building a gazebo type deal with it and then growing beans on it to make a living shaded seating area.

You’ve given me some ideas for next year! : )

I like the idea of a living shade!

Quarter Pounder was feelin' cute, took a selfie 😅

I just love a variety great strains. They appear to be loving the care and sunshine.

Well the night before last one of my dogs was super sick, I was up with him all night. Nearly took him to an emergency vet, he only ate a wee bit yesterday but is back to himself today. Yesterday I found out the land I live on was sold and I will need to move after October so that is pretty heartbreaking. I am just exhausted today but I had to go attend to the plants, I didn't even look at them yesterday. I found a mutant bean vine out there today its pretty weird looking. The squash are squashin' and the tomatos are trying to sneak out suckers and get taller on me.

That sucks! Being in between places is hard, the nomadic life is not for the faint of heart. On the positive side of things your gardens are looking super happy!! 😃 get some rest, take care! : )

Your poor dog, and poor you.
On a positive note your garden looks amazing. My tomato plants have passed the top of the stakes too and I've taken to topping them to keep everyone within bounds. They are producing and I've had a couple of Cheroee Purples and 1 Black Krim and a handful of cherrys. Now it's summer. 😁
Love the support for your squash, do they try to sneak under it?

The squash have been insanely simple. Its really seems to like having something to grip to. I could flip that thing upside down and not a vine would budge. The very start I had to train them a little and one tried to poke through but since they reached the top they have been easy peasy.

i couldnt hit more then one like option. So im doing this instead:

😕 On the moving news. Guess no hope of working anything feasible out with the new property owner? I hadn't realized you were kickin it camper style. Guess i missed that somehow. I lived in a camper for close to a year at a spot near Sedona, AZ. Just took my ebike in and out of town and ran a generator when i needed power for something.

😍 😍 at the garden. Gorgeous.

Housing here is no bueno especially if you have pets so I bought a 30 foot travel trailer and moved into it. The new owners want us out and unless someone we know has a place for us to rent we are probably moving away from the lower mainland to somewhere less expensive and not overpeopled and under housed. This place is basically perfect so it's really shitty we have to go but I may end up back on the Island. That would be amazing because Vancouver Island is 100% my heart home.

Really sorry to hear this fella. Be sure and get a good referance from your landlord if you can.
Unfortunately he doesn't speak english. We communicate through a translation device 🤷‍♀️

Having a hard time being excited about the garden knowing I am walking away from it in a few months. Things are looking okay though probably just going to let the autos do their thing I don't really have the energy for them anymore.
