Man it's been crappy cold mornings last 2wks such a downer for those of us in my area of where we grow. We are all saying " where's the heat? " Good for you for patiently waiting i hope it works well for them outdoor babies. My autos are in total stall just not doing nothing they hate cold. Good luck, hope we all get some warmer weather for the grow. I may regret saying that in August πŸ€ͺ🀞🀞

its been in the mid 90s everyday here for like a week, and another week to go, no rain in site either. Hot dry and miserable. Only the F1s are really maintaining their rates they had coming into the heat wave but expecting em to slow a bit this coming week. My OJ's and my Biggs are not fans at all. Theyre a bit droopy by 2-3pm in this weather. Im already glad i left the tree that shaded em in that 4-6ish period.

Love the grommets on the bags! Have you used them before?

If I might make a suggestion.......better to "cook" your soil, if you really feel the need to, IN your pots on top of your tarp. On the ground and not sealed well could be an unnecessary risk. Outdoors you face many and constant threats. Inviting pests, bad spores and such into your medium is one that's easily avoided. Might not be a problem in the long run but could potentially be so why take the risk. I try to build prevention into my grow plan where ever possible. Make sense?

You have a well thought out grow. That's awesome! I look forward to following it. Keep it up! πŸ‘

I am growing outside where all those risks live and do their bug and spore things so I am not worried about it. A bug will bug if its going to bug, an extra tarp over the 3 I used and putting it in pots before I need to expose it to said spores and bugs isn't going to stop spores from sporing and bugs from bugging it will however dry up and not "cook" properly πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

True. Rabbits take breeding lessons from the fungus gnats and root aphids around here. It's all out biologic warfare every year I just choose to not make things easier for them. That's all.

I had one neighbor who lost his crop in mid Sept to PM and it didn't take long to spread my way. Another got hit by PM and whiteflies last week of Sept.

Hope you didn't take anything the wrong way. I'm just here to share and help if I can. Nothing personal, nothing to prove. Everyone has something we can learn from them and I look forward to hearing about your experiences. That's what I love about this place. πŸ‘
