There are a few nibbley bits here and there but I have been pretty blessed with lack of bugs. I have been relocating any ladybugs in their larve stage to my plants as I have spotted a few aphids hanging around. I actually relocated on mid shower yesterday
I got in there and started showering then I noticed a ladybug larva on the wall so I hopped out grabbed a cup and wrapped myself in a towel and moved the little guy to my plants and then ran back to the shower

I am in love with that plant lol. Its been such a beauty right from the get go. I have been on the Pink pretty hard because its sort of in the centre of things and I cant have it getting big enough to throw a bunch of shade.
The other pink I have is doing well but its not nearly as pretty as its sister.

Tomato plants are as tall as I am now going to be cutting their heads off in the next few days

I made this shelf type deal for my squash more because I didnt want to have to rip out what was under the tarp, its three different types of prickle bushes. Bonus is the squash will be away from the ground and pests and the air flow is maxed.

Sweet tooth appears to be a good week or two behind the quarter pounder but if I remember right it had a longer finish time.

Man it's been crappy cold mornings last 2wks such a downer for those of us in my area of where we grow. We are all saying " where's the heat? " Good for you for patiently waiting i hope it works well for them outdoor babies. My autos are in total stall just not doing nothing they hate cold. Good luck, hope we all get some warmer weather for the grow. I may regret saying that in August

im behind a lot. When i try to disable notifications for the trainwreck, it doesnt take. Phone or laptop.

Even when i change the site colors, the very next time i sign on, its back to original.

Sometimes i get a notification while im on, click it, and reply, and then find out im replying to a week old notification that i only just got for some reason.

if i didnt love you guys and this community so much, i would have left the site already, because basically nothing works as it should for me lmao. Sometimes when i post from my phone it doesnt take, and ill flip to the computer, and itll take. Then my initial post will pop up some time later after the replacement post and ill just delete it lmao.

Maybe i confuse the platform by using more then one form factor of input (phone and pc both)

We got a nasty heat wave so the cool weather of June feels like an eternity ago. I recently took a few weeks off the site and have been trying to catch up myself, an impossible task really.

β€œso, I just had to sit there while it happened to me.” I swear I could be such a better internet friend if I could get my damn notifications and folks I follow all organized!

Slow and steady Bee! I’m always behind with everything and if I focus on what I havent done rather than what I just need to get done and keep that flow, I get way overwhelmed and thats when I start the downward spiral of stress! Hahaha!

So far trying to train these autos has been a trip. They are so compact its been a challenge to spread them out. Been working in small bursts because my back is not fucking having it any other way.

The pink ladies are growing at an explosive rate I think I am going to struggle to contain them.

Sweet tooth is starting to flower now I am pretty happy with the shape after some tweaking yesterday. The Quarter pounder is looking to be a pretty dense plant when it fills out.

These squash vines have some crazy reach. They are at least 12 feet long and harvest time is still at least 2 months away. I was going to chop them but I want to see how long they can get

I love that. Kinda wish i had thrown some pumpkin seeds out this spring. Last year mine did the same thing grew an grew i really enjoyed them. Gave the pumpkins away but they are a joy to grow. What kind of squash you got there? What a year it would of been for me if i had grown melons too, shoot so hot and dry though i must be nuts.

I have butternut squash and sugar pumpkins growing, all for pie lol. I will likely expand into the melons next year. This garden was still forest in January 2023.

Did some Fimming and topping on one of the pink ladies the other was still fairly even and didn't need it. Probably going to make a frame of sorts for the next level of trellis so it's more sturdy than just string.

A few squash on the go but this one is the biggest.
