When I catch a seedling popping with the seed shell still on I will take a pinch of the medium and give her a little hat and then just a drip or two of water on top. I find its usually enough friction and moisture to pop the shell off.

The cap sent me some. Fun part of the story is I didn’t get them in the package. We both chopped it up wherever they went hopefully someone makes use of them. They turned up later in someone else’s package 🤣😂
🤣🤣. Nice haha I belive I have some seeds from cap that have the LSD crossed into it (one of his crosses I believe) I haven’t tried those yet

Fuckin' PM on my squash! Not today satan!
Yeah it’s early this year, notice only the garden spineless zucchini have the PM, the black beauty, none right next to each other, they be fine for a few rounds of Zucs, did you know for every round of tomatoes you plant, you should have 2 crops of cucurbit varieties, so if you plant say 1 round of determinates and your season would end, you’d plant 2 rounds of zucchini or cucumber. If you can run 2 crips of determinates you should be able to run 4 cycles of cucumbers or zucchini / squash, Most people try to push them through the full season, but fight with the PM and leaf die off, but they aren’t that type of plant, so any vining type would be replaced halfway through the season, I only usually push a single crop through, but may go for a 2nd round Midway this year, I already have new tomato plants (replacements for the determinates already growing)

2 weeks ago we had 90’s with 80% Humidity, and 4 days of rain, PM showed up last week,

TLDR I’m planting black beauty next year and another PM resistant variety lol

How’s the rest of the garden!

I don't think I understand what you mean about the tomatoes and cucubrits. Do you mean time wise? Like you can grow two cucubrits in the time it takes to grow one tomato?

I only grow inderterminate tomatoes so they go all season. My cucumbers are shitting the sheets this year. Last year I started them inside and moved them out this yeah I didnt and they are struggling to get established. First round got flooded out in our late and heavy rains. I planted more and some are trying to fight their way through. Season goes until the end of September here first frost usually mid to late October so they will have plenty of time to finish. My squash and pumpkin are doing well, prime example that not all seeds are equal though. I planted twice as many as I would keep and its a good thing too because some of the plants are much stronger than others. Beans and peas are doing well, should be munching the first of my peas soon. Decided to plant some seeds from the cantaloupe I bought the other day. My potatoes are doing very well this year I expect a good crop. Your garden looks so professional compared to mine. I need to up my plant support game lol
