Very nice.

The vert lighting made my UC plants grow wider than they did tall. I flipped at about the same size you're at and they ended up at 3+ ft tall and 4+ ft wide. So large they started to grow into the lights and I had to raise/move lamps around to accomodate and not burn them all to Hell. IMO, to get any height/to make them taller than wider you'll have to trim for the effect. (at least with my Blueberry that isn't a huge stretcher)

Yup, alfonso...it takes a lotta "shit" to grow the Monsta trees and swing the vertical lighting. However, if everything gels, there are few other systems out there that can match the yields the UC will put out.

I would trim and then cage those bitches....and stand back. LOL.

Gonna fire my UC back up here real soon. Looks like it may be a Chemdog D run this time around....

good luck on the flowerin'

Started trimming my bushes today at the start of day 11 and this shit is gonna take days, these bitches are straight bushes, went for 3 hours and didn't even finish the runt, the stalks are already as big or bigger than my finished stalks in soil and the White Berries have started passing the tops of the cages and plants are now touching each other!!!

Hey dude. Beautiful girls!! I suggest trimming things away after the bud sites form. Day 11-14 is typically around when I do things, but with the UC it may be different. Once the initial stretch is gone, and bud sites have taken place, trim away that stuff that wont amount to much.

Keep it up!

Thanks bro excited to see the difference of quality(from soil) also. Anyone that's made the switch have any comparisons, you can let us in on? Also thanks Hanna for your help earlier on picking my nutes out. I love the DM Gold so far its so stable, my ph has not moved one point so far without my help, most stable base nutrient I have used so far.(haven't used too many different brands yet tho)

That's actually an interesting question. For the strain I ran most people liked how it tasted out of the uc compared to the finished product of a friends same strain grown with coco and perlite. Im not sure but I think it depends a lot on the characteristics of the strain/ pheno you are running. I used less nutrients in my product and there are a lot of other differences. It is something that is hard to compare.... things taste a lot different in soil than hydro

Thanks on all the commets and compliments everyone, been working real hard on everything. I still been getting em trimmed up, this shit is taking some hours, don't see how some of these bigger grows get it done so fast. Hopefully get in done by tomorrow with a good days work. Day 13 gave a 22 hour flush with some Zone and Drip Clean, Day 14 started the Big Bud, and took down the adjust-a-wing, have it 1000 PPM (Sorry the pics suck, been using my phone I'll take my camera next timefuck with the lighting a lil and and see if they come out better and its also hard to get the whole plant in the picture cause there so big)

Start of Day 14

Nice you stopped by fuzzy, I ran these 2 strains my last run in soil so I'll see how it compares, just wish I would of saved a few nugs so it could of been more controlled comparsion but that shit was too inresistable for me, especially the Yumbolt-47, man I cant wait to have some more

So the last few days the plants haven't ate any ppms and actually been raising about 10 a day, idk what is going on if its lockout or if its because I brought my ppms down of everything besides my base and hit it hard with the big bud but kept at same ppms as before. Havent seen any leaf burn tho, idk what it is, hopefully ill get em eating again soon, I wanted to give em a flush today and remix everything but I left a heater in one of my water res and I forgot about it and it ended up melting a hole and leaking all the water out, so I didn't have enough water so for now I brought my ppms down to 700 to see what happens, maybe do a lil flush tomorrow and remix everything. Any ideas whats going on anyone and what to do? Sure ill get it figured out right away just wanted to see if anyone knew about this just to be safe.

Whats up man I am subbed now just found your grow. Don't know if this will help I have a similar setup and am glad to see someone else rockin the low plant high volume concept.
I had the same problem in my small room they were taking the nutrients and leaving the water. I found this. Hope it helps!.

Humidity:High humidity causes the plant to use less water and more nutrients. Low humidity stresses the plant because they use to much water.

My humidity is hard to keep study and I have 2 dehumidifiers.

The other problem I had in my big room was the water temp got down to 64 and I keep it at 68 it slowed things down enough to notice.

Good luck man nice grow!

Thanks for stopping by and trying to help me out with my problem I am having right now. Nice to hear your running something similar, you got a journal of what you got going on? And my problem is actually kinda of the opposite of the one you had, there drinking tons of water but my ppms been rising a lil everyday but now that you said that the problem started around the time I brought my humidity down so maybe that has something to do with it. Im not to sure yet, my top off tank was all dirty and had lil chunks of nutes coming out don't know if this was making the ppms rise or not but cleaned the hell out of it and hopefully this was the problem, ill know today tho.
