Cuz i dont have my cuts anymore, i told u that, and ya i do and have givin away cuts. Better than hoarding em i always say, y i wanted a cut of it had nothing to do with rarity or anything like that, i just wanted to run it again, simple as that

Ok then. If you can land 3 of these per pack why ask then in the first place ? Many packs still up for sale ....

....... The Thai Stick male was from 'Dealer's Choice' Thai stick in 1976...which were just the loose flowers intended as a bonus to the dealers.

'Dealer's Choice' was not tied to sticks with different colored silk threads to determine which direction things went once in the states. Most of that was kept by the dealers from what I understand....

'The One' is a cut only from 1984...as is her sister 'Blue Orca'...and the still unknown 'Mary Poppins'. These are the only 3 from the original breeding left out of 9 phenotypes distributed to different BOEL members/associates in the early 80's......... Gascanastan

Spring is upon us :)

Just a little update, started chopping up some Goji cuts for this years outdoor .... Seeds will be hitting the water tomorrow ....

Is that from the F1's or did you find that purp in the F2's ? What day is she on ?

The plan is crossing the goji / unicorn with a few males from the one & blue orca, nl#5/haze. And some F2's .... After I get harvest the seeds I'll let a friend run some indoors. I only work outdoors so really glad summers right around the corner.

Little back round on BOG's BMR

..... " The name Bluemoon came from me and was given to one of the plants of the first run. Subcool and I crossed a Micanopie Moonbeam with a male from a pack of Blueberry we had gotten from VicHigh. The first run only a few came up so while investigating the cups I ran across a seed that had germed and went the wrong way. I re-potted the shoot and it took off. The resulting plant was as strong a flavor of blueberry as we had ever encountered, a "once in a bluemoon" plant it was. This plant was cloned and re-crossed with the original father. The resulting plants were uniform in structure and taste. Subby and I gifted BOG with the beans, he in turn created BMR and theres where the multi pheno's came from. When I breed, I consider it the male's "job" to contribute the genetics of the strain of which he is a
member. I mix the pollen from ALL the healthy males of a particular strain into one vial and pollinate a
chosen female. By doing so, I guarantee the most diverse group of genes representing the male's strainare transfered to the female.

If you pollinate with a SINGLE male, you are only passing on a limited selection of the total possible
genes of his strain. Since males are not the intended "product" of our gardens, it's meaningless to try to
evaluate them by smoking them. The best possible outcome of choosing males based on their potency
would be the creation of a seedline that produces POTENT MALES...is that what you're breeding for?

Hahaha we got a good one going here don't we. haha Ya your right mrsoul, my method would be a pipe
dream in this case but after looking at what I've seen being offered in the way of strains and the poor
breeding practices that went into creating them I feel that there is a need for some of us to go back to
the book and quit taking the shortcuts.

As for the selection of the male, lets compramise(sp?). The male can be selected for many traits other
than potency. Let's face it we already have some pretty potent pot. Why not have our males come from
a line that we already know is potent. Often we are now looking for other traits such as yield, growth
habits and the biggie for me, flavour. Also, often traits are somewhat linked. Like say the most potent
females are ????say purple??? for sake of argument. We would obviously pick males that are the most
purple along with having all the other desireable traits that we want. With common sense, worrying
about which male is the most potent is not something to loose sleep over as long as you use more than
one male and you have a good genetic foundation.

thanks Jaws .... I have a few cool projects planned but it's gonna take some time.

Hitting the Goji's with different males then running the seeds so I can find the keeper will take me into next year. I also plan on taking the Goji to F3 & locking down mom but that will be an even longer project.

How do you get oxygen to the water? Just kinda pick it up and move it to break the surface tension of the water? Or just leave then sit in a cup then come back in 10 days and bam roots.. I did it witha bowl of water and neoprene pucks floating around but it had an air stone to it

i never touched them. they just sat in the cup the entire time.

i would give them 6 hours of the sun every day. they loved that ..... / F1 vigor also ....

or its the tunes ? :confused:
