I am working on building and selling these with a 10 day lead time. We are implementing new designs to make this a tad easier and faster. With Graywolfs blessing I could make this available to anyone fast. I found one pump that is recovery and vacuum, I would like to make a package deal for everything you need, just fill the tank of butane, pack the tube and make oil. Also i am working to put a built In heated collection pot you can set at different temps.

the built in heated collection pot would be money or erl rather lol, haha i use that same counter top heater skillet when i do my runs, got it at wally world lol; Just gotta get the price point right and make sure shipping doesn't cost a grip:)....take it easy

For current design I believe GW knows of a distributor ?OR based? for the whole kit.

Interested in seeing what develops. I know I got a few ideas floating round, like an quick change collection vessel, I know not easy, but got a few ideas how it may work, just might have to fab it myself though. Good thing I gots access to power tools.

Right now too busy learning Python, a step on the path to Growtopia, to dig in too hard. It ain't broke, I ain't fixing it yet....b/c I got too much shit that's broke and needs fixing.

So I want to state that by talking to my grandfather or the custom manufacturing genius he made clear to me all the mistakes made in previous designs. He also explained how to build a better unit, not that this version is bad but could be improved on. Graywolf from my understanding is a professor and knows the chemistry, my grandfather knows metal. We are working on a removable dish in a bigger collection pot with a door access. Filling your tubes with cartridges rather than packing each tube and incorporating a nonstick surface inside the pot or on the dish. He is working on building a completely see through unit out of glass or other material. Graywolf and my grandfather could go a long way...

I have access to custom size heat jackets controlled with thermostats which will eliminate the crock pot or my Griddle contraption.

Be careful :)
I think you only need a sight glass for fill or scale for tank, or both. And don't really need them, but you know what I mean.

Door access, nice idea. I always thought something of a submarine door hatch would work. Or if you could mount, without compromising the structural integrity of the pot, something the size of a oil filter that it all collects in, then just screw on/off those containers (of course then they'd have to stay on and take the pressure, too).
I don't know much about coating, but if there were a way to coat it with teflon that would be tits. Foaf found a place for teflon bags that he uses to line the pot.
As far as cartridges, may be easier to just buy a second tube and pack while one runs. A rubbermaid, a funnel and a dowel rod go a long way to speeding that up.

Good luck, can't wait to see what you come up with.

I gifted the design to public domaine, so anyone making a quality unit at an affordable price has my blessings.

Bon appetite!

Python is powerful programming. Growtopia is an Android App. Sea just got her very first Smartphone (and got a deal on it).

Nothing expensive, most is free.

I didn't know it was an app. I just combined Grow and Utopia as an expression of some mystical far off place in my future where when I go to spend time with the ladies, I ain't going back and forth getting em drinks all day. Just keeping up on their progress and spending quality time.

Python is to make it easier to learn C++, b/c MIT provides FREE COURSES in all sorts of shit. http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
C++ is the language used by the Arduino microcontroller,( http://www.arduino.cc/ ) a $25 controller that when paired with some software and relays accomplishes everything you'd want out of a 'smart relay' or PLC (programmable logic controller).

Basically just trying to learn some EE, so I can go about spending less time being the robot, and more time watching the grass grow. And maybe have an employable/useful skill when all is said and done.

Bob, our semi retired electronics genius, is building us an Arduino control package for the Mk V, using a transducer vis a vis pressure switches like the Mk II. I'll post that data when it is available.

Things are taking a little longer than expected as usual. I am doing everything around here, sometimes it wears you down. These units cost me around 3000 dollars for everything to make, that includes pumps, tanks, hoses, gauges, can tap, butane. They will probably retail around 5,000 if done legit.

You can fill a bath tub with oil with a couple of these units run 24/7. No doubt, but is 100% the highest we can go? What about using a soxhlet extraction? How do they get salvia so potent like 60x. To bad I failed chemistry, which is why understanding all this is pretty tough.

Also Graywolf, how do you avoid floculation or whatever at the very end when you vac down to minus 30 in the final step. My buddy isn't pulling it down that far at the end so there is still butane and he purgeS off in the oven.

I don't know anyone selling them assembled. I do assemble a student's Mk IIIA kit in our Skunk Pharm Research BHO classes as a demonstration, and if you played your cards right, it might be yours, but if not, it also takes less than thirty minutes to assemble and pressure test one yourself.

Even if you aren't mechanically inclined, and assembly doesn't look intuitive, you will see how easy it is once you watch me do so in class. Some joints require Teflon taping, but the rest just assemble with Tri-clamps.

As for price for a complete unit, someone did journey to Portland to consult with me for free technical support once, after selling three complete packages for $8K each. That included the pumps, etc, which would have brought the total outlay for a parts kit and the same ancillaries at somewhere around $2500.

He did include a purdy cart with it, but the rest of the mark up was labor and profit.

While somewhat slack jawed and agape at the price, I'm also tongue in cheek, because both the buyer and seller walked away feeling like they got a good deal, which is how I define a good transaction.

I don't know of anyone offering my other designs in either kit or assembled form. There is a growing list of folks wanting a commercial Mk V and awaiting the test results from the prototype. I'm building the prototype for an associate for giggles, but it the waiting list looks attractive enough, there is a good chance that I can find a willing fabricator to supply the rest.

They won't be an angel supplier at near costs like Specialized Formulations with the Mk IIIA though, because the product is for commercial use, rather than mom and pops meds.

We only pull down to -29.5" Hg, so as to not boil away the THC.

The only floc that we see, is when we winterize to remove the waxes.

If you are refering to waxing, we get shatter 100% of the time in thin films at 115F and -29.5" Hg vacuum.
