I use FF OF for veg. I just run a lot hotter mix for flowers. That is why I think I get away with 10 day flush because the soil is so Rich

Hmm, interesting. I like to achieve a fade at the end of flower as well by tapering my feed for 7-10 days. Have a couple watering at the end

Yeah I use Ocean Forest in veg and flower. Bongo I used 5 gal containers to finish my flowering girls back home. When I moved to a legal State I started using bigger 35L (app. 10 gal) to finish em in but still using much the same nute regimen I always have. Adjust here and there for each strain, but I don't really follow the directions on the bottles. I don't really taper my girls off their feed program but will stop feeding , giving them only water for the last few times they need their feet wet. Thanks for the interest fellas. :D MGG

I just tried another over the counter bag mix last week. Root Organics by Aurora. Cost a few dollars more than FF OF. Not nearly as good from the start for me. Veg started turning yellow after a week. No I am hitting them with nites yo make up for what the soil lacks. Never had this problem before. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I just will never learn. Now I gotta add lime to this expensive shit to make sure I don't burn the ladies.

Haha. I'm still a promix guy myself. Might try adding lime as it's so common practice with weed. But I'm still up in the air about it

I just worry about hitting veg with too much nitrogen. Too much fish emulsion, etc

I always used straight OF soil too, along with the entire FF nute line, and LOVE it!! The only amendments I added were a little dolomite lime to stabilize pH and sweeten the soil a tad. and #3 chunky perlite. Before the air-pruning pots (like the Hercules or Root Makers) came out, I added as much as 1/4 to 1/3 additional perlite. However, with the air-pruning pots it was too much and really not necessary any longer, so I omitted it once I started using them. I never added allot of lime either. Only used about a cup of lime to a large bag of soil. For me...the lime really helped.A little goes a long way tho, IME. Best, -Max

I use 3 cups of lime per 2 bags. 30 lbs of worm castings. 3 cups of fish pellets. 3 scoops of black hen. 2 cups of Jamaican bat guano. 2 cups of bone meal. A lil coconut coir. Cup of alfalfa meal. Cup of kelp meal and a lot of perlite. When I was in graduate school I buddied up with a group of students that were experimenting with super soil mixtures. I kinda of picked the ingredients that I thought gave the flavor, high, and bag appeal that worked best for me. I have altered it many times over the years. Mostly the quantities but I usually stay consistent with the ingredients. I also applied some of these ingredients to my personal commercial soil for sago palms

I am gonna run Lifesaver, Sour Bubble, Sour Grape, and Sour Strawberry starting next week. I am starting everything from seed so it will be a long wait to see the final product. Who knows. Bog might see the thread and adopt me. Haha. I am getting really excited just thinking about it!!!!!

I just got finished running those same exact strains! You're gonna love them!! Be sure and post up a link to your thread when you start it! I'd sure like to watch!! The good news is that with BOG's strains...you won't have to wait all that long. His strains are very fast! (The Sour Bubble can be a slow vegger tho, so be forewarned. It's DEF worth any wait tho!! Best of luck bro!! -Max

Yeah bro...it's really a good thing when you have a simple system that works and you're not feeling the need to shell out big bucks to try every new fad that comes along! K+++ for being simple yet VERY effective!!! Best always my brother!! -Max

A mighty fine sour bubble plant MGG. Lots Of color and a nice structure.

I appreciate the positive comments Max and everyone.

The farm is out of SG and SSK so we will be getting more out soon.

On the Lifesaver...it was my first real medical strain and it out numbed anything that had come before it. I felt the tooth numbing potency one morning testing it. It sure yields well too and some taste great while some don't. ;)

It can make your whole body numb and it gives the blessing of sleep. Sleep is a blessing and I consider it a Zen State of meditation in which we dream.

Special insights can come in dreams or waking meditation.

That really is a beauty MGG has found! Of course, he always brings out everything the plant has to give too, which is evident in this one!! Great job bro!! ;)

BOG, bro...your Lifesaver is da' proverbial shit!! You are not kidding it's great for sleep & pain! It's currently my "go-to strain" for both! I can come in at the end of my work day with my back and knees just screaming! I fire up a big bowl of Lifesaver and it's like somebody just bathed my flaming joints in novacaine! lol. I call it getting "lubricated"!! I can literally feel the effects begin in my head and neck and filter down throughout my entire body...relieving pain and "oiling things up" as it goes. I also have allot of trouble falling asleep sometimes, and also with waking up every little bit thru the night. I can smoke some Lifesaver before bed, and I drift off in no time, and sleep soundly for hours if not the entire night! Thanks so much BOG! She is a great strain!! Mine has a delicious taste. She actually tastes like the green lifesavers smell! Mmmm!

Hate to hear stocks are low on your SG and SSK! BOTH are amazing strains too, and I know allot of people are disappointed. I'm SO GLAD I got mine early!! I'll be popping 3 more of your SSK soon and I'll put up some pics as soon as there's something cool to see! Thanks again!! Best, -Max

We have lots more to send Max. The Farm is out for now is all.

Try Blue Kush because I just smoked a wake up joint of it and I can barely type this.
