exactly! you go in all mean and cranky, they are likely to short your Propofol!
that has always benn my biggest fear,i had a job taking folk to emergency room one time, them nurses always threatened me with them damn things if i didnt quit cutting up,soonas they would bring that package out with that mid evil looking son bitch out ,the room got quite hahahah, had one girl carried it on her person all the time,i walk threw that door, she just reach in her scrubs and bring it out,i would throw up the peace sign and she would shake her head ,ya that boy gonna mind hahahah

The Hawaiian strains might not make the huge buds like outdoor grows, but they are definitely the most dense buds that I have ever grown. Just a bit of give...like a tennis ball.

new one on me
Looked it up...the bract is the structure that would have held a seed...at the base of the two hairs...a bunch of these make up a bud...at least that’s how I read it. I think this is one of those things you have to be watching all along to know if it is getting bigger. These look swollen to me, but will watch to see if they grow.

That happens the last couple weeks. After all those white pistils die back.
starting week 9! I’d say 10 days or less to go...

Next question: growing in coco...used MB...a couple lite doses of PK booster which fried the leaf edges, and now only ph’d well water for the last 7 days. Fans are starting to turn purple/yellow and die off. That would be expected outdoors but is that ok for indoor/coco? maybe I shoulda kept up the nutrients all the way to finish in coco?

The flower in the pic has weeks left to go. She is still in peak bloom. I have seeds the breeder told me personally 8 weeks max. Most of mine went 10 weeks or more. A couple 12 weeks.

No need at all to count weeks. They are done when they are done.

Cutting early is the reason most growers are disappointed. Patience equals potency.

Thanks MI...so ok to just give water from here out? seems like they will die fast in coco with zero nutrients...

I dont agree about that. The plant needs nutrients at the end. Just less. I dont use coco but i would still taper the feed down each watering to the end. I only water only even in soil the last time or two if they dont need more nutes.

In soil there is always biological activity producing minerals for the plants. In coco the only minerals available are introduced. I wouldn't recommend water only but slowly diluting and changing the percentages over the remaining days/weeks of flower. The last day or two should be okay but the plant will need nutes, just in different percentages and levels than when vegging.
